Hotel Tetora Akabane

Very convenient location. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy housekeeping. Value for money!

Area is a little out of the way, can get to the centre of Tokyo in about half an hour. Also next to the jr line station so good if you have the jr pass. Capsules are surprisingly spacious, roughly just under 6' in length but they're a decent width. Good service, would be helpful to have some kind of guide to the hotel though so people know what to expect, for example this particular capsule hotel doesn't require daily check in and check out like some others, so you can leave things in your capsule. Also provide a free loan smartphone for the duration of your stay with some mobile data - great for saving money on data SIM cards.

The rooms are very small, but comfortable and inexpensive. The location is very good as it's right next to the station and is only a few stops from Ikebukuro, Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Everything was great, except the bathroom door on 2nd floor made loud noise each time user entered or came out. Also, food corner on 3rd floor was small, most time occupied.

Had a great stay for one night. Had fridge and other amenities included which was nice. Bed was very comfy. Only downside is the wifi wasn't great and disconnected a lot. Overall a great stay and would recommend!
