Great hosts and clean property.

I booked this hotel well before COVID-19 and the nightly rate was high, but I thought “well, it is Aspen after all”. But later, I noticed that the rates had been slashed and so I requested an accommodation on price or an upgraded room. Their response was “if you hadn’t booked through Hotels.com we could do something about it”. Without Hotels.com I wouldn’t have otherwise even known about the place! Also, no breakfast was offered so the extra couple hundred bucks more I paid than the other guests did held even less value. I understand that they had to make changes due to COVID-19, but I think it was poor customer relations. The bed was comfy but I was not otherwise impressed with the room or property, although it was conveniently located. Not sure how this place has a “Superb” rating...

Very cozy and quiet. Perfect retreat after a day of hiking. In the middle of Austin. Great location and place to be.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing time at the Snow Queen Inn. The location is absolutely gorgeous (close to main street and beautiful parks) and the people who run it are incredible. We can't say enough about the current inn keepers, they are so welcoming and kind. If you ever get the chance to stay here, do it!

Great location. Nice walk to town center. Room was marginal. Advertised as including breakfast, but when we got there, we received a note saying no breakfast due to Covid-19. Could have given us a discount or coupon to get breakfast or told us in advance.

Clean, comfortable, well-located, great breakfast. Hunter and Hannah, the. managers, were gracious and helpful, offering wonderful suggestions for eating, shopping, and of course, skiing.

Location was perfect. Walk to downtown Aspen, walk to the gondola for Ajax mountain (Aspen mountain), catch the bus to the other mountains across the street from the lodge. Breakfast was great, staff was super friendly and helpful. Only down side was there was no room service, meaning never trash emptied, no bathroom refills, no towels or cleaning. We did ask for more shampoo and they gave it to us, but we asked for the shower gel to be refilled and trash emptied and we got nothing. Still very worth the stay, just noting it is not perfect.

Location is great. Our room was tiny and faced a wall but was clean. Met very nice people staying there while having breakfast at the kitchen table. Reasonably priced considering the area. Inn keepers were friendly.
