Accommodation London Bridge

Staff superb, helpful, knowledgeable. I took a room without a window. Enjoyed the darkness, however the stuffiness is a bit unbearable. They need some type of ventilation. The WiFi is very sketchy. The connection in my room was often terrible. Doesn’t help when one is trying to plan for the next day’s sightseeing. Good location with two small grocery stores nearby, along with a tasty chicken place. Would be great to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Great service. Great location. Lovely room- smallish but had everything we needed. Spacious shower room. Only gripe? We couldn’t switch the radiator off and it got very hot! Would definitely stay there / recommend to friends.

Very very hot room uncomfortable to sleep

I was spending a couple of days in London, the first seeing a friend and the second one on business so I stayed here one night. The first point to note was that although I could not check in until I think 3pm. I was able to freshen up from my train journey and leave my case at 9am. The receptionist was extremely helpful and recommended visiting Borough Market which is only a short walk away. This was superb advice! My room was windowless but a good size with a very comfortable double bed. The en suite bathroom was large and equipped with a bath. The toilet and bath both had support rails so I don’t know if that is standard or if I had been allocated an accessible room by chance. I don’t know what the shower was like as after a long day sightseeing I enjoyed the luxury of soaking in the bath. In spite of the proximity to the centre of London, the room was quiet and I enjoyed a good night’s sleep.Although this hotel is room only there is a Sainsbury’s next door so I was able to have breakfast in my room.

No frills here, but room was clean and did the job. Couldn’t beat the price. VERY small, and no air conditioning made the room quite warm at night, had to open windows which had no screen. Was a bit afraid of bugs coming in, but had to take the chance.
