Hotel Čertovka

It was everything it claims to be. Room was clean and fabulous. Location perfect. Andrew at front desk awesome. Breakfast more than I expected. Not plannning on going back to Prague anytime soon (though it was fabulous), but wish there was a Certovka in every European city...we would stay there! BTW, I am skeptical traveler who rarely writes reviews, but this place blew away all of our other European hotels. If you are visiting Prague, stay here.

Great location! Love it that breakfast is included. Nice spacious room - #3 downstairs with a view of the canal. The only drawback was that we ordered a ride from train station to the hotel, and they didn't come Called hotel and they supposedly sent another driver. We waited an hour, and no one showed up holding a sign with our name. A bit frustrating but must have been a misunderstanding. Our transfer from the hotel to the airport was right on time and worked out great.

Stayed three nights. Great, great, great location. Right at Charles Bridge. 5 minutes walk from old town. Restaurants everywhere. Clean hotel. The only negative was WiFi was spotty at night, but two Starbucks nearby to check/send email.

Why Hotel Certovka. We were looking for a hotel close to the Prague Castle and even though the pictures of the building looked simple, the inside looked nice so we booked it. Glad we did it; hotel delivers good value for the price. Location: The hotel is located close to the river, few steps from the Charles Bridge and 15 minutes walk to the Prague Castle. From there you can walk to the Astronomical clock, the Dancing House (10-15 minutes) and museums. You will find several restaurants close to the hotel. Uber had some difficulties to find it so we walked to a park that is 50 yards away and requested the Uber from there… Services: Very nice hotel. The room was comfortable and the bathroom functional but “compact”. Our room was located in the corner of the building so we had two views: To the street and to the Charles Bridge. Breakfast included and was a surprise that the eggs are cooked by request even though is a buffet. The staff is limited but the service provided was good. They offered currency exchange (Euro to Koruna) at good rate however you can exchange Euros almos everywhere (be aware of the fees)

Wonderful location in the "Little Quarter," a stone's throw from the western end of the Charles Bridge. The air conditioning was very good (and we needed it!), and the wi-fi and breakfast were also very good. We did not have a car, but beware if you do, because parking will be a problem. The hotel was quiet and clean, not too big or too small. We would definitely stay there again.
