Very good and helpful staff. Hotel needs some updating. And a complete change of fleet in the towel section.

The staff were wonderful. They are at your service and were very accommodating and patient considering my French is horrible and Arabic worse. The room was larger than expected and butted up against the pool area (although it was too cold for swimming). I will stay here again when I return.

This hotel was amazing. It’s is perfectly located if you want to visit the Medina. The staff was very helpful in arranging a walking tour and calling for taxis and everything was very clean and organized.

The hotel staff was incredibly kind and respectful. They offered a better room without me requesting it, and proactively arranged my departure to the airport. The only downside about this hotel is that during night, it's a little too close to the medina, where women alone may feel a bit unsafe. Honestly, besides this, I think this is a fantastic hotel, centrally located in the city!

This hotel is stunning and the service is absolutely amazing. Mourad, welcomed us and provided us with impeccable service. My mom and I had never been to Morocco. He was kind, patient, and helped us with transportation to the airport. He also arranged for a guide to take us to the Medina. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short because my mom wasn't feeling well, but he made sure that everything was perfect for her. I will always remember his kindness and attentiveness. The hotel is beautiful and the service is wonderful.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing location. However, the standard of the rooms is below par: poor plumbing, dirty floors and rugs, and outdated decor. The breakfast served is acceptable, however, the dining room is outdated and designed more for large conferences and tour groups, not couple or family travelers. Further to this, the restaurant staff have not learned customer service and many simple issues are complicated by the hotel procedures; ie getting tea or coffee. Management should invest in an update as this hotel has so much potential due to its history and location in the heart of the tourist area of Tangiers. We would also suggest redesigning the entrance with the metal detector as it is unsightly and difficult to maneuver with luggage.

A gracious older style hotel, overlooking the souk and harbour, the Grand Hotel Villa de France provided a very spacious and comfortable stay.

This property, a former French Embassy property, was built in 1880 and is a historic gem. It is now refurbished and functions as a five star. Very comfortable 58 rooms and suites with acess to ammenities from next door sister property. The hotel over looks old city and port and from top floor terrace the view is wonderful with Gibraltar to the northeast readily available. The food is excellent in the dinning room. I recommend the filet! Staff is very sensitive to service headed up by Karem in Guest Services. He is the" go to guy" for any guest needs!
