Ayasoluk Hotel

This hotel is a great example that modern can mix with the traditional with amazing results. Rooms are nicely and functionally decorated, courtyard was just amazing. Restaurant had a selection of delicious food!

This was undoubtably the nicest and friendliest hotel we stayed in the entire time we were in Turkey - from the moment we walked through the gateway from our taxi to the moment we left and were given a bon voyage by the staff. The rooms were great, modern, well kept, very clean and very comfortable and the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was included in our room and was a bountiful feast of plates spilling off the sides of the table. Lunch and dinner were amazing also. If you are an early sleeper, avoid the poolside rooms as conversation from around the bar can be a bit loud at times.

This is a relatively new small boutique hotel on the hillside near the Basilica of St John. The rooms are lovely and bathrooms are modern. The dining room is warm and cozy and although new has the charm of an older place. We ate dinner there each night and the cook was excellent. The staff are attentive and friendly. The outdoor bar and patio next tot he pool was a great place to sit at the end of the day and relax. Guide for Ephesus was arranged for us and certainly knowledgeable. would certainly go back.anager

Our only mistake was just staying one night. We arrived late and left early to tour Ephesus and beyond.

This was my first time in Selcuk. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Our room had a beautiful view of the surrounding neighbourhood. From the balcony, you can see the Artemis pillar and the Basilica of Saint John. Ideal location because it's a few minute's walks from Selcuk bus station.

Ayasoluk Hotel might have the best customer service at any hotel I have stayed out. Really a 5-star experience here. Hussain who helped check us in, helped out once we arrived offering us room options as they had empty ones during our stay. He is an absolute class act, and we ended up having having drinks with him and the staff every night of our stay at the bar. Hussain even slept in the lobby to ensure we were all set upon departure. Truly have never seen that from a hotel staff. The food is amazing here. Everything is prepared locally and handmade by the staff. the lamb shank took over an hour to prepare and was incredible. The hotel is roughly 5 years old, so it is a an awesome experience to have a newer hotel sit in between the old town of Selcuk. The facilities are all new and the pool has a great view of Turkey. They have local wine and beer for dinner there, and the wine is all from Turkey. We ended up buying a number of bottles during dinner and took one home with us, and let's not talk about the breakfast display. The Turkish breakfasts spreads had fruit, eggs, pastries, local pancakes, and what made it was all the spreads. I would totally recommend this hotel, and after visiting Turkey would recommend to others to avoid Kasadasi and the beach hotels as those are tourist traps. Selcuk is closer to the Ephesus ruins and you get more of an authentic Turkey experience staying in the town.
