Costa Rica Guesthouse

This place was just okay and a bit disappointing. The man at the front desk was cranky and unwilling to help us. When we arrived he charged my credit card even though I already paid on Hotels.com and he put us in a room without a bathroom even though I paid for one with a bathroom. So we had to tell them and he said they had no rooms like that left, and then miraculously they found one. Because the front desk staff were not helpful we were not able to ask many questions about getting around or transport to the next city. Also, definitely do not stay there if you were looking for free breakfast. It was just toast and jam.

Liked: location, breakfast, outdoor patio, comfy bed, spacious room. Didn't like: sparse hit water for shower, noisy with train during day and club music at night,

Clean, comfortable and friendly. The staff are so helpful and sweet.

Very nice and simple stay at Costa Rica. I have stayed 3 times here because of the good price, simple rooms, wifi and free breakfast. It is near San Jose city but also to Cali street that is full of restaurants.

We had several restaurants and bars walking distance from the hotel. A Taxi ride downtown with tip was 2000 colonies. The smokers in our group loved the outside patio. They sold cigarettes at the desk along with beer, pop, water etc.

It was a great experience in Casa Luna lodge. The staffs there are so friendly helpful. Mirella( I am not sure I spell right) and other two staffs in the recessional area are super helpful. Any employee in restaurant and pool Is very good. The room is clean and the lodge is beautiful. I strongly recommend the lodge.
