Lavanda Hotel & Apartments Prague

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Andel Train station and Adel bus stop which makes it very convenient to get to the city center. There is a multi-storied big mall about 7 minute walk from the hotel. The access to this hotel is not on the street side but is hidden inside the courtyard of a large building. Though there is a sign on the outside of the building, it's not as prominent and may be missed. WiFi was good. The room had a hot water kettle and two glasses and two tea cups and plates. I needed a US power plug adapter which they did provide, and that was helpful. One of the negative aspects was that I was given a room on the fourth floor but they had elevator going to only the Third Floor. So, I had to hand carry my heavy luggage one floor up and that was very hard at my age. Also, I arrived at 2:15 PM and had to wait until 3 PM which is what their check in time is. They don't have any toilet at the reception or anywhere, so I had to leave my luggage and go to the mall. Otherwise, the stay was quite OK.

Unfortunately, some ignorant guest/s who previously stayed in a room we were allocated, ignored the "No smoking" sign and the room stunk of cigarette smell so badly, that because of my asthmatic partner and both of us being non smokers, we had to ask for another room. The staff were good, polite and understanding regarding the issue and tried their best to change the room for us despite being fully booked, which we appreciated and about two hours later, we ended up in a room that looked much more like the one that we had booked in the first place. The bathroom and especially the shower was tiny, bed slightly hard to my liking (suites some), but the room itself was spacious and and very warm.

zeer grote kamer,heerlijk bed , vriendelijk personeel, werd elke dag schoongemaakt, dochedeur liep wel uit de rails, geluidsoverlast van nabije pub, maar receptie spraak hun er wel op aan, zodat het rustiger werd, goede ligging vlakbij openbaar vervoer, kamers hadden geen airco, maar wie had ook verwacht dat het zo heet zou worden (38*)

Very close to public transportation. Room was clean and well equipped. Only issue was that the room (#11) was right above the building entry where all the smokers concentrated and the smoke went straight to the room. So stay away from room 11 if you want the windows open and are a non-smoker :)
