Hotel Primavera

Located in a perfect area, right by Piazza Novana and within walking distance of all the major sights - I didn't have to walk more than 20 minutes to get to almost every sight I wanted to. There are a few bus routes that stop right there if needed, and the piazza it's located in is also a taxi stop. It's a bit difficult to find at first, you'll have to ring a doorbell and go through a set of large wooden doors. The breakfast was continental but quite good, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. When we got there the person who greeted us told us how to get to all the nearest sights and was available for any questions. It felt safe and welcoming. The rooms were a little bit small but not in a bothersome way. We had a private bathroom but we looked at the shared bathroom too and it actually looked quite good. Also had an in-room safe which was a welcome surprise. I would stay here again.

I wrote an honest negative review and for some reason hotels.com rejected it. That could explain why the reviews of this hotel look so glowing here and how I made the mistake of booking it. It's old and dirty, and too hidden and easy to accidentally book a nonrefundable 'shared bathroom' room - which we accidentally booked and is even worse than it sounds. The location is good but I would never stay here again. Please look elsewhere, I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Basic but clean b&b in a fantastic location just moments from Piazza Navona. Buses to collosuem and Vatican right outside and a cab rank in front of hotel. Breakfast limited (a roll and a croissant each plus various types of jam, cornflakes, one type of mystery pink fruit juice and coffee but it is what you would expect in an Italian b&b. I'ts nothing fancy but i would stay here again because the location is brilliant.

Great location!!! Staff very friendly and helped in every way possible. Only negative part is the bath room was very small and smelled bad. But again we did not stay much in the room.

Wonderful stay with Mr. Daniel and his great staff. Very kind and helpful. Accommodations were perfect, quite clean and air conditioner worked flawlessly. Breakfast more than adequate including espresso drinks made by his staff for guests. Also, the location is in the heart of Centro Storico di Roma - just about every major site is less than 15 minutes walk from the Hotel Primavera.
