Puri Madawi

After scouring online through countless hotels in Seminyak, I was pleased to come across this little gem. Initially I was a bit sceptical of the location upon arrival, as it seemed "off the beaten track", however that all changed immediately after checking in & having a wonder around the area. When we checked in we were greeted with extremely friendly staff who could speak and understand English very well & the grounds were lush and well cared for. We checked into our room which was very clean & tidy. After booking online I had advised that the arrival day was my traveling companions birthday & asked if they could do a little something extra special for arrival. The staff had strewn fresh flowers from the entrance to the bedroom & beautifully decorated the bed with a lovely birthday message & some Balinese coffee for us to have- all at no extra cost! The location is a 3 minute walk to the beach & all of the food & drinks during our stay were fresh & delicious. The alcoholic beverages were a bit on the pricey side, however given they are located slightly away from the main district & a smaller resort, that's understandable.

Small and intimate place. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Great little pool. A very comfortable place to stay.

Staff are amazing - couldn’t do enough Beautiful breakfasts and meals very good I had a bungalow which was lovely - stairs could be a challenge Will definitely return

Just 5 min away from the beach, lovely garden and pool area. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Peaceful and quiet, except for the birds that chirp in the morning. I personally found it very cozy.

We loved our 4 night stay at Puri Madawi. We loved that it was small and intimate, friendly staff, lovely pool and tasty a'lacarte breakfast. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 7 minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minute walk to the main street. We also loved tbe outdoor bathrooms. The only problem we had with the room was the shower tap was leaking and then fell off with water going everywhere. The ?plumber was there within 3 mins and had it fixed in no time (10pm at night). We had a bad experience with the "authentic" money exchanger at the end of the street, who stole $200 AUD from us. When we realised we demanded our money back and he gave it immediately. Always go to the legitimate exchangers in the glass shops.

Ok location not far from beach about a 7 min walk up an alley. Very old grey towels that used to be white. Suites have room upstairs. Not many channels on tv. Lots of tax. Don’t order the Caesar salad or smashed avo. The fruit breakfast is great

First timers in Bali

We enjoyed the hospitality and service provided by the hotel. The room’s amenities were also sufficient for all of our needs. It’s a nice little walk to the beach where you could have dinner as the sun sets. Also a convenient location to day spas, coffee joints and restaurants close by - along Jalan Pettitenget.

Very nice hotel, 5 minutes away from the beach

Very good hotel, close to the beach and quiet! Bungalows are very stylish and the staff is attentive!

The position of hotel meant that it was very quiet but only a short distance to food, bars and shops. Staff always friendly and helpful.
