Holiday Inn New York JFK Airport Area

Great staff. Very clean

I stayed two nights, the second night I was contacted from the cellphone of the guy @ the front desk stating I needed to come downstairs because my card was declined for the accidental hold even thought I saw the hold pending. I sent a screenshot of my account showing the hold to said cellphone phone. Then around 12:55am I was awaken and startled by someone using a keycard to attempt to enter the room but I had the safety lock on. I yelled out YES... the gentlemen responded I’m sorry and closed the door. At that point I felt so unsafe and really wanted to pack my items and leave but I was scared because it was late and I did not know who was outside the door. Still dazed and confused I laid there for a few minutes trying to go back to sleep. Something just didn’t sit well with me. I called downstairs and Lisa picked up. I said I need to know who just tried to enter. Lisa apologized and said she did not know someone was in the room and they she had sent the gentleman to check it out. I replied to Lisa instead of calling the room or him knocking he decided to attempt to enter the room. This was the worst experience I’ve ever faced out of all the hotels stays in my life. I’ve never felt so unsafe. I have since sent an email to the hotel to have this documented and still awaiting a call. Thumbs down to Holiday Inn JFK Airport Area, Rosedale. PS let not discuss the group of men handing out in the parking lot on the side of the hotel!

There was some pretty nasty stains on the sheets. I arrived very late and had an early flight no time to deal with changing rooms after showering and preparing to sleep. When I talked the girl down stairs she said oh since you booked with hotels.com I can’t do anything but you can take a free drink..

What I like, it's close to the airport. What I don't link is the noise of the cars on the street, the people staying next to your room, the cleanness of the room, someone used the toilet and wasn't cleaned thoroughly, the beds sheets weren't neat as they supposed to be, the housekeeper going around with no mask on his face while guest have to wear masks.

They charge for parking. No refrigerator or microwave in room. THEY OVER CHARGED ME AND WILL NOT GET BACK TO ME! They said it happened to others when I called and have yet to get back to me. Terrible! Will never stay again! Whole floor smelled like smoke!

The staff is amazing, very kind and very professional. They all welcomed me with smiles. It was very clean as well. I have no complaints at all. I will definitely be staying again.

This place is dirty, no fridge , less towels The bed covered we’re not changed

This is my second time staying here. Staff is always friendly, and rooms are clean. Would definitely stay again

The hotel was clean and all the amenities did work. The only complaint I have was the television signal kept cutting out and freezing.
