Hotel Primus Frankfurt Sachsenhausen

Very helpful staff, which is extremely important when you are in a country we you don’t speak the language. The hotel is ver close to the amazing Christmas markets. The markets are only about a10 minute walk and it is a very pretty area that you walk through. Hotel is spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable.

Very good and clean hotel in quiet area. About 20 minutes walk to city centre and 2 minutes walk to tram and metro station. Hotel provides free breakfast as well.

Very tired hotel but first class Reception staff who anything wasn’t too much bother for and housekeeping and food good too

Clean, amazing shower. Had to wait 3 days for an extra pillow. 4 light switches where one would do. One located in the bed. Traditional German toilet, not our style. Breakfast ok but bread rolls not the freshest. Good location. One very nice receptionist.

Easily reachable from city centre by tram or S-Bahn. Close the river and close to the evening 'entertainment' area. (It is noisy at the weekends). Rooms a bit small but satisfactory.

This hotel was a nightmare to get too due to traffic. When we finally got there we couldn't find parking,.... anywhere. We drove around aimlessly trying to find somewhere to park so we could check in at least. After about the third pass of the hotel we spotted a hotel parking sign in this little narrow driveway in the one way lane. We drove in and found a space for our car in the 7 available, and after the 15 point turn we wiggled the Ford Focus in. Don't know what we would have done if there want one available. Lucky for us the hotel was excellent. We met Herr Frank who checked us in, and he was the nicest guy you would ever meet. He gave us some great advice on what to see and how to get there. The location want to bad either, right by the river and walking distance from the old town and museums. There were plenty of great eateries around. We found a great little restaurant just a few doors down from the hotel as you approach the river. The owner couldn't speak either English or German, but was so nice. Turned out to be a Syrian restaurant. The food was excellent and very generous plus cheap. The hotel room was very clean and well presented plus comfortable. Breakfast was nice as well and not too expensive. I would probably stay here again. The hotel was excellent, but the parking very ordinary.

Was great service and friendly. Always again whe I'm back in town.

The elevator was broken and we were on 6th floor. With asthma hard to do. I had to leave luggage downstairs.
