Lied Lodge & Conference Center

Went on a Christmas road trip. This was our first stop. What a way to kick off the trip. The ambience was perfect. The decor was amazing. The bare timbers were amazing. The staff, from the bartenders to the waitstaff to custodial and front desk were extremely courteous and helpful. At times the front desk was unmanned and we had to wait quite a while before anyone would come out from the back. And their body language made it appear that they just got caught doing something wrong. Other than that the stay was enjoyable and very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back in the Spring.

It was great. Beautiful place, wonderful food and service in bar and restaurant. Should have brought our swimsuits, pol was so warm!

Always a pleasant stay. The restaurant took a lot longer than expected, however I'm sure they were working with less staff. The grounds and cleanliness are always well taken care of. Been coming for 17 years. Will continue to return.

Restaurant was very nice for my wife’s birthday dinner and a happy wife is a happy life as some would say

No a/c, no fan, 2am fight in parking lot.

This is one of our favorite places to visit to relax among the trees. Staff was masked and careful. Most guests seemed to comply, also. Unfortunately, the bed in our room was in terrible shape, and the pillows were small and seemed old.

Restaurant was a little disappointing. It's always been so good. This time Caesar salad with added chicken had very little chicken. My crab cakes were not hot nor my soup. Price has always been higher but quality to match.

This hotel is beautiful. However, like other lodge-themed hotels I have noticed the hand and bath soaps smell like a musty forest (not in a good way) instead of fresh and clean. I don't get why they would buy those bad-smelling products. I also wish breakfast was included but we did really enjoy our evening dinner in the restaurant. The large pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool were also a bonus.

Just had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Lied Conference center in Nebraska City. It was very clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. Everyone inside wore masks and sanitizer was available. It wasnt very busy on weekdays, so social distancing was easy. Dinner at the fireside restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast was average. We enjoyed the pool. We were the only ones there for most of the time. We were disappointed that the hottub was closed. It would have felt great!
