Hotel Savona

Hotel is right in the centre of town so we could walk everywhere. Good food in restaurants and easy shopping access. However, hotel room has an old and dirty carpet. Bathroom was clean. There was a safe but a note said it was broken and couldn’t be used! Breakfast was nothing special.

This property is well located for all Alba attractions. The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are decent, if somewhat outdated. Bathrooms could all use a renovation and upgrade. A nice breakfast buffet is offered, but it has not changed in the few years I've been using this hotel.

It’s an old hotel red updated but you get what you pay! The location is excellent, it was 3 minutes walk from Alba train station, and, it’s right next to the main Square where you can visit place of interest of Alba, as well as shopping, tasting Barolo wine in wine bars or restaurants. I will stay there again for convenient 👍

So so stay at Hotel Savona Alba

The hotel is locate in a good area near the center of Alba and the staff was very cordial but the hotel need major renovation is at list 30 years behind. One thing that was upset is that you can not put air conditioned in your room until the town decide it So I was there on April 19 and 20 with 80 degree temperature and no air conditioning. They should have mentioned on the hotel.com website no air conditioners till May 1. I had a group of 10 people and they were not happy.
