Really nice hotel.. However it is far from old city and beaches.. Good gotel

Beautiful Palatial Hotel on Lapad peninsula but just 25mins walk or a 10 minute bus ride from the old town. Convenient for cruising and bus station also but on the quiet, no traffic side of harbour. Great location for walking one of the many promenades and coastal walks. Good efficient reception.. nice bar, big dining room.. the Buffet Breakfast had one of the most extensive selections I have ever seen. better than most 5 star hotels. Room was big, with balcony overlooking garden. room was spotless, modern and with all facilities listed. Bathroom was big with a big bath/shower and Aloe Vera natural toiletries. TV had extensive channel selection and free wifi was good. Tea/coffee facilities provided with mini bar on request. Bed was king and very comfortable. room was quiet even though my floor was full. owing to the inclement weather i didnt get to experience the pool or gardens.

We liked the location which is in a fairly quiet part but close to the beaches of Lapad and on a bus route from the city centre. Nice views of the harbour from our balcony. Our room was in the modern extension and had all the usual facilities. The only downside was the air conditioning which was ineffective and very noisy. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The hotel had clean, comfortable and well furnished rooms. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. They were nice enough to not charge us for an extra night when I made a mistake on the reservation. Because of the location we needed to take the bus to the city walls. This was extremely easy for us but may be a problem for others.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really great. Location is a bit far from Old City but only @ $6.00 (US) uber ride from hotel. Even mist uber drivers are very friendly.
