BURNS fair & more

Stayed 17/08 in a 'junior suite with terrace', at a cost of £173 for the night. The decor was very nice and a bit different than standard boring hotel rooms, but a little bit scratched/marked in some places. The room was a bit more spacious than average but not huge. Nice terrace balconies that you could see quite a distance, would have made more use of them if it was warmer outside! Wifi was good, parking available outside on the street. Free coffee available at reception in the morning. Very convenient for access to the koelnmesse convention centre, 5 minute walk. My only negatives were that there is no kettle or coffee machine in the room itself which is annoying, and also that the shower doesn't drain properly and has left a big stain on the floor from all the previous showers over time. I do recommend this hotel and will stay again, but the price I paid was a bit expensive for the room I received - possibly because I only booked a week before staying.

We were a little concerned about the location when we arrived as it was in a housing estate but our stay was good. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was about 20 minute walk from the Rhine park and a further 15 minutes to the Cathedral so a good base for sightseeing.

Lovely hotel

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Lovely hotel and staff were friendly. Shame there was a picture of a naked woman in the room. This is something that I feel strongly about. I wouldn't stay there again because of this. It's called an arts hotel, but a picture of a naked women is not art it's more pornography.
