Family Fun only
This resort is on a beautiful beach and the campus is well designed and lovely! The people are very nice and the service as good. However it is a very large resort so the service at times is slow and also mistakes are made. Our dinner reservations were input mistakenly twice and our internet service went out time after time even with the platinum package. We wasted too much time at reception trying to correct mistakes! The room was clean but we frequently had to ask for towels as they didn’t always replace them. The towels and linens need replacing as they are tattered and scratchy! The king bed was like a trampoline; when my husband moved I was tossed making it difficult to sleep. Also my pillow was large and hard.
But my biggest issue was with the food. Although the restaurants are very pretty and the atmosphere always nice the food is bland and meats fatty and tough. Platinum package got us 2 nights worth of upgraded dinners and one a lobster yet still not so hot. Platinum gets you a special section on the beach with nicer lounges and near and restaurant and bar which is great. The downside is that it is near the area where they hold activities and music is always blasting. It gets on your nerve after awhile. I’d recommend this resort for families with kids as they do a great job entertaining them
however it is not for couples seeking a quiet vacation.
