Worst hotel experience in Sweden

Booked double bed but got twin beds put together, bad ventilation in hotel room, spa costs extra - 2.5h entrance for almost as much as the hotel stay. Spa was fully booked when we arrived. Couldnt reach the hotel or spa by phone for two weeks prior to visit, couldnt book spa, phone in hotel didnt work. Also asked for wine bottle opener but the receptionist referred us to a restaurant next to the hotel, rude personnel in general. Very small and old TV in room. Only one tea bag for two persons. No hygien kits. Very small bed tables, almost the size of a phone.

10/10 would go again

The room was perfect. Minibar to keep my own drinks cold and a nice, big bathtub where I could sit for hours every night. It was clean and the cleaners did a great job with it during my stay.

The room had no full-body mirror, a leaking iron and no tissues left…. All I need in a hotel room! But it was still pretty clean and we had a nice stay

Great atmosphere

This hotel has the usual Clarion vibe and atmosphere. Great breakfast too!! Loved it and great location with lots of good bars and restaurants nearby.

stayed at the hotel 2 years before and big change..hotel has definatly dropped in standard..had to change my room..due to certain things not working. Room was rather 'sliten' Breakfast amazing..and the staff very nice.the bar openning hours was a bit weird and the music overpowering..the location is good..

Hotel was amazing, clean, and friendly staff. Buttttt we were there for a few days and not once was our room cleaned, everything is my appointment (maybe because they 500+ rooms), to use the steam room services you need an appointment(maybe it’s covid), for the morning buffet(but they let take food to your room), and can’t order beer after a curtain time for room service(maybe 11pm it was). Or it was just my experience. Amazing spa is a must try. Bring swim clothes if not you can purchase them at the spa.

Our experience was far from ideal. I booked a family room for me and my parents. The room was pretty small and had a sliding glass door to the bathroom right next to the bed. The glass was frosted but there was a frame of clear glass which made the bathroom visits particularly awkward. On top of that, the sliding door was broken and had a huge gap making the situation even more uncomfortable. We only received 2 sets of towels although we booked for 3 people. The products in the bathroom were low or fully empty. We checked in at 8pm - plenty of time for them to refill. We all needed to take a shower and get ready for dinner needed to get things sorted at the front desk first (they did not pick up the phone) The front desk was super friendly and provided the missing items but was not able to solve the bathroom door issue. The hotel was fully booked so we were not able switch to another family room. They were going to try to get us a standard room when we got back from dinner. After dinner, we were able to get a new smaller room. This room had a flickering light and all product were low or empty as well. I wonder if anyone ever checks these things? Also, the upstairs neighbor had a party until 3am. The three of us had a terrible nights sleep. In the morning I asked the front desk to refill the body wash and conditioner but nothing ever showed up. We left the hotel exhausted, dirty and deeply disappointed. Ironically, I signed up for the Nordic Choice membership that day…
