The suite we were in was very outdated: dishwasher didn't work, sliding door didn't lock (we were on ground level so safety at risk), shag carpeting, blinds were covered in dust. They offered to have housekeeping come in daily to wash our dishes. This would have meant to leave our dishes overnight and exposed to cockroaches and other insects. We opted do to our own dishes but had to supply our own soap. When we mentioned this they kept saying housekeeping would have done it. It was very easy to reach the beach since we were on ground level.

I liked how the area did not have the feel of a big resort, more of a quiet laid back setting away from the busy town. I did not care for the fact that we had to wash our own sheets or pay an additional cleaning fee. I also did not like that we had to go to the office during open hours to exchange our dirty towels for clean towels, and to get more toilet paper and soap.

The property was beautifully landscaped and maintained. Laundry facilities available. Beautiful pool area. The only negative thing we have to say was in regards to communication and the late check in.

I did like the set up of the condominium, specially the room sizing and the extra half bathroom. The grass and the garden is really nice with the ocean view. The cleanness was disappointed. It looked like no one cleaned detailed for long time. Lot of dust. Otherwise I loved this place not to mention the great price they offer. I would go back again.

Lihue Beachfront Condo
Our condo was truly oceanfront! No A/C but fantastic flow through taking advantage of the trade winds. Located inside of Lydgate Park that has life guarded swimming area just a few minutes walk. t's a couple of minutes outside of town so a car is recommended.
