Staybridge Suites Cranbury, an IHG Hotel

Solid business hotel with good amenities in the rooms

My family and I booked 6 rooms at this hotel and paid ahead of time yet every last one of us had an issue once it was time to check-in (either the reservation was missing, there system split the reservations or there system wasn't working to properly). After everyone got settled in, it then became an issue because my family members chose to follow the hotels "non-smoking" policy and left out a few times to smoke in the hotels designated area? To end the one night we stayed there, we received 2 calls from the front desk who stated, they were receiving noise complaints about my family but the "other" families making noise, kids screaming, animals barking and the one family who was outside all night by the firepit drinking, smoking and yelling was okay? Needless to say, I won't make this about "race" but my family seemed to be a "target" since the check-in. I will be sending my concerns about this hotel to the "Better Business Bureau" also.

The hotel at stay itself was fine. However, when my friends and I were outside and walking back to our room, a woman of Caucasian descent, yelled for us to “go back to where we came from”. We are a group of African-Americans and that was disrespectful.

Pretty basic locale - because of Covid there was limited food. Front desk person was very helpful giving me names of restaurants nearby where I could get curbside delivery. Also was nice about giving us a first floor room because we were traveling with our old dog. Room was ok, bathroom towel rack was falling down but it looked clean. Needed a bit more soundproofing so we wouldn’t hear every flush of neighbor’s toilet!

Reception was very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. The only down part are that pillows were too small but otherwise. I would definitely stay here again!

The lady at the desk took awhile to get us checked in, but didn’t give up and was trying to help us, as we had gift cards and it wasn’t working. Room was a little smaller than I thought, but we weren’t there that much. They don’t clean daily, but were there if you needed something. Overall, I’d stay again. Biggest complaint was they needed to vacuum the hallways and stairwells.

Pet friendly, great desk staff, clean and comfortable all for a good price

Due to Covid the cleaning service was very limited but it wasn't communicated at all.

Room was very spacious clean and nice

A bit tired inside; breakfast was over at 8:30 which seems a bit early. Nice folks.
