Hampton Inn by Hilton Kamloops

Major renovation. Old furniture outside near main door. Elevator dirty with gyproc. Room noisy from people above.

the hotel is about 5 minutes by car outside of Kamloops in a mixed business area, nearby some shops, hotels restaurants. Check in was professional, the room missed a prepared bed sofa which wasade immediately. Some construction works occured but no negative impact to us. The included breakfast is ok.

Still under renovation and transition, so hard to fully rate the place, but I expect it will be completely fabulous when it’s all settled. Breakfast was superb, best weve ever seen. Waterslide was excellent for the kids, but had unrwpaired broken parts and the hottub was shut down for the first part of our stay. Was disappointed to pay PREMIUM pricing for a hotel that isn’t quite there yet... but the potential is there.

Very nice hotel but we did encounter an issue with the payment. We had prepaid for the room and on check out I was presented with the receipt. I enquired if this was a charge and explained that the room was prepaid. I received an apology and was told that I would be credited. When we returned home checked our statement we had been charged, credited and charged again. It took three phone calls and two emails to resolve the issue but we were credited after providing proof of the charge. It was settled to our satisfaction but do be aware.
