Centro Hotel National Frankfurt City

I stayed during March 2020 coronavirus time period and the hotel staff was so very kind. You see I had left for Ireland for one day but could not return to Germany due to the restrictions placed overnight. So my main luggage was still at the hotel and I paid to get a label to send it back to the United States. Youness was so kind to help me and get my luggage out of my room and put the customs documents and shipping label on it that I had purchased and emailed to him. The motel room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. This hotel is an excellent value for the money and the staff are extremely trustworthy.

No water bottle, where as other rooms and gust receive water bottle. I have ask for same and they refuse

The man at reception lied to my face. I requested an early checkin and he said the hotel is full due to the Trade Fair. NOT... there were eight empty rooms on my floor alone. I also checked Expedia for availability after getting to my room, there were many rooms available in all categories. I have stayed here for many years and since it changed from National Hotel to Cento National service is nonexistent... I would have been happy to pay for an early checkin. Hopefully, the manager will see this an contact me for specifics. I pulled up my history of stays here, and would love to share them. After this trip, I will return to their competitor Savoy, a half block away, last time I checked, Savoy Hotel was run and managed by Germans.

Good stay

It was great for the price we paid. It is close to the train station. Check in and out was a breeze. We only stayed one night but it did what we needed it to do. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast but it smelt delicious when we walked down.

Good location opposite main train station and easy walk into city...but the area is very dirty and lots of down and outs hanging around constant beggars Hotel breakfast was great and bedrooms very large and comfortable No bar or restaurant as advertised this was one of the reasons we booked the hotel also we asked for extra pillows to no avail also staff didn’t seem bothered to help Also in bedroom an information card advertised the fact the hotel had a vending machine for snacks alcohol soft drinks etc which is not the case So much misinformation at this hotel This hotel has gone past its set by date we don’t recommend this hotel

From the outside I wasn’t sure but inside it was so good, nice and clean, nice staff, breakfast was good and the bedroom was clean, comfortable and bathroom clean. Close to train station, trams and buses, walking distance to main shops and river Main for a walk along the river.
