Park Hotel Barcelona

Not recommended

The hotel was in a great location. The room was nice and modern and comfortable, also clean. 2 things let it down. Firstly, on our first morning we woke up to building works going on, on the floor below us. Drilling crashing and banging at 8am in the morning, was not impressed seeing as i was on holiday. I went and told the receptionist i werent happy he offered to change our room but apparently there were no further works during our stay. Dont know why they put us above it in the first place. Anyway, the receptionist was apologetic and gave us a free breakfast, i was ok with that. 2nd issue, not a massive issue but annoying. Only 1 big bath towl for 2 people. And then 2 small towels. Other than that was a good stay and enjoyed our time in Barcelona

This hotel was terrible. Dont recommend it to anyone. I paid for one room 72€... my room was at 6th floor. It was really dirty, there was hairs in the shower and smelled really bad!!! Also i have a mold allergy and I found mold from the room from several places. Also big dust balls at TV and at airconditioning duct. Also floor was dirty, there was someones cutted nails at the floor and hairs.. the air was really unbreathable.. I had to complain the room because of my mold allergy and because it is not worth of paying that much from that awful room. I got another room also from 6th floor, there was better air but also found mold from the walls, bathroom and selings.. The pictures were not even close that what the room was. So they are cheating with the pictures. What I reserved from the paige, I looked the example pictures and those were not those rooms!! Really awfull experience. Also went to the roof but there was some tools at the floor and dirty. Wiews were nice but thats all. Awfull hotel, dont recommend this. Too expensive, ajoin be one star hotel if the rooms are like this.... And they are playing with peoples health because of the mold...

The ‘single’ room I stayed in was plenty big enough and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a great size and I had a small Juliet balcony I could stand out on. The pool on the top floor looked amazing but it was a little to cold to swim. It’s a great location and easy to find. I didn’t choose the breakfast as I felt it was over priced 30€ for what I would eat. Instead I went for a stroll in a different direction each morning and found great options for under 10€. The hotel is busy refurbishing some rooms so if you plan to sleep in past 8:00am this would not be the place to stay. Negatives, as in all the other places I’ve stayed in Spain, the door/windows are not sealed well so arguments in the alleyway reverberate and can be clearly heard in the room and I found the room quite warm even though I turned the heat off and a/c on.

Nice place to visit when you can be outside for most of the day. Too small when your stuck in the room due to torrential rains hitting BCN in 20 years.

This place is very nice, and in a perfect location. The staff are exceptionally nice, and go out of their way to help.

This hotel was great for the price -comfortable but not fancy. The location was fantastic.

The room was incredibly comfortable. The hotel staff were kind, courteous, and extraordinarily helpful. I will stay here again, and recommend it to my friends!

Great location. Construction the whole time. Bar was closed. Service was blasé. Everything felt very used. Tinder box of a room if you get the balcony view.

Hotel location is good. Room is small which we were fine with it but it’s wore out very bad. Dirty wall paper, the edges are curing out. Sticky tv remote control, Furniture surfaces and bathroom door. If air conditioning is not on the bathroom smell . Bathroom ceiling panel stuck out and the shower drainage is very slow. Room doesn’t looks like The pictures from the website .
