IntercityHotel Rostock

When I booked In I was not offered/ given the transport pass as promised. Instead when I independently had to buy mine I was told I was not entitled to either a pass or reduction from the bill. Therefore I was not in a position to offer the pass I purchased to somebody, which I showed willing to do. I found the staff to be abrupt, corporate and didn’t really seem to want to help or offer any support. The hotel, made an issue about its ‘green credentials’. However the temperature of the room was 25c, with no instructions on how to turn heating off. Also why does one person require 5 towels for their stay?

Hotel was really nice, staff very welcoming. Our room was just a little bit dated but very clean and tidy. I had to do quick repair on the shower as it would not drain (tip - angle up the big rectanglar drain) but otherwise was great. We found prices in the bar to be excellent and staff were all keen to help. Overall I would be happy to recommend this hotel!

The usual hotel stay - nothing special. Mattress pretty hard though and breakfast expensive af.

Excellent location, next to the hpf. The hotel has decent restaurants and convenient store as well.

Temperature 30 c and no fan despite hotel.com stating fan in room. Mattress not comfortable appeared to be of sponge.This hotel is completely unlike the one in Berlin. Your score for this hotel is overrated

Our room in this hotel was very small. It reminded me of the room we had in Hong Kong! I could not open the doors without getting out of the way. The location is extremely good. It is literally 300 feet from the train station! You come out of the North exit of the station and go to the right and your there!

Excellent location, across the road from the central train station and central bus station which Flixbus operates from. Staff pleasant and courteous. Breakfast is excellent with a wide choice on offer, with guests able to take a takeaway coffee with them if they want. The hotel provides a free travel ticket which gives unlimited travel on public transport in all zones in the city. However, rooms are very small and basic and the beds are particularly uncomfortable with very thin and hard mattresses. There is no air conditioning and no kettle.

The hotel is just in the right location for what we wanted the railway station next door which also included the tram stop much to our surprise. We needed a good night’s sleep and we weren’t disappointed.

Very clean and convenient property located close to Rostock Station and very near the bus line into the town.

Nice room! Extremely helpful front desk; didn’t seem to mind answering about a 100 questions. HBF right next door!
