Honestly, it was perfection.
Our stay at the lake was absolutely blissful. The house is adorable, bright, fresh, and VERY clean. The host had everything we needed to be comfortable- and more! Our kids loved fishing, swimming, and turtle catching. Plus, the yard is huge and they played lots of catch and tag. Each night we enjoyed the sunset over the lake while roasting marshmallows. It was the perfect restful retreat and fun weekend gateway!

Adorable Lake House
We had an excellent weekend at this adorable Lake House! The lake has a lot of weeds in it but the house is great. Quality furniture, accessories, linens, and kitchen tools. Owner included special extras which made the experience more enjoyable (large bags of ice, firewood, floaties for the lake, kitchen essentials). Owner was very responsive to inquiries. Excellent experience.

My father-in-law brought his fishing boat, so we were able to fish with him!!
Everything was fantastic except, if we would have liked to swim, there were many weeds near the pier. My sister-in-law and I layed in the sun at the end of the pier, but never got in because of the weeds!

Charming cottage with a gorgeous view of the sunset
Very charming and peaceful! New, attractive furnishings throughout, a spacious, well-stocked kitchen, a private pier (we rented a boat), and a double lot with a great fire pit and an absolutely beautiful view of the sun setting across the lake. There were lots of thoughtful touches, too, like the refrigerator stocked with milk, eggs, butter and other basics and ice pops in the freezer for the kids. The only unexpected downside was that the half bath is in the garage, but it was a good place for kids to rinse off after a day in the lake. This is a great place for a family to relax on Chapman Lake!

Nice quick getaway with friends
House is clean, quaint, and a wonderful place to relax. The property is large and provided some amazing sunsets! Going into Warsaw for groceries or restaurants is only 10-15 mins or so. Karen was wonderful to work with and was very accommodating!

End of Summer Vacation
A perfect week long family vacation before the start of school during the Covid craziness. The house is as described with lots of amenities, a big yard, great lake view and friendly neighbors. We rented a speed boat for the week, which made it that much better. A number of comments in the reviews mention the weeds, which are an issue around the pier. However, if you have a boat you are able to find plenty of areas in the lake to enjoy swimming / floating without any concerns of the weeds. One word of caution for boaters that are new to the lake -- be sure to get a map of lake that includes water depths. The lake has a number of shallow points that you should know of in advance. This is a great place for a family to relax and have an awesome time away from home.

Beautiful getaway cabin
Really enjoyed our almost weeklong getaway in times of Covid . The property was super clean and very well maintained . Beautiful lake and views. You can’t swim though , lots of weed but it’s still really worth it . We used the fire pit almost every night . Would definitely go back if I have too. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. Just one downside is the smell of sulphur in the water . Carry drinking water if anything .

Great Place To Stay
We really enjoyed our time at this little lake house! Quiet neighborhood, beautiful sunsets and campfires every night. Only thing that could have made it better was bringing our kayaks with us to go out on the lake.
