This place is in an amazing location, but there are a lot of problems with Temple Place Suites. After making the reservation on Hotels.com I was contacted by 3 different companies asking why I was staying in the room, they wanted a copy of my drivers license, and they wanted to know who was I staying with. These emails felt like a scam. When contacting these companies I received a disconnected phone number and a phone that went unanswered. I literally spent 3 hours vetting this "hotel." On the day of my check-in I was to supposed receive door and room codes by 4pm to gain access. I never received an email or a text message with the promised codes. At 5pm on check-in day, I once again spent 1 hour calling and recalling the 1 number that had worked previously. I was doing this in the middle of the Laguardia Airport on my way to Boston - not ideal. No one ever answered my phone calls. 90 minutes later I finally received a text message with the door codes. Operationally this place is unreliable. Unfortunately Hotels.com was unable to provide any real support with Temple Place either. It’s too risky staying at Temple Place Suites. When you add in the fact that only 1 of my beds was made, the carpeting was heavily stained, the building smelled wet and musty, the room lighting is abysmal, AND it didn’t have a window with natural lighting I will never stay here again. I would have tried to work out some these issues doing my stay, but I didn’t know who to call.
