Regency Hotel Miami

Good for short term stays, i don't recomment for longer stays. Breakfast is almost nothing. Don't expect too much.

The room was nicely painted and clean, but it lacked enough furniture to make it a comfortable stay. There was only one chair in the room--that was a desk chair. No dresser. The shared nightstand had drawers. The price for the room was good.

I picked this hotel as it was close to the airport for convenience. I stayed to days waiting for my son and his girlfriend to pick me up. The hotel had a lovely pool which was another reason for me choosing it. Sadly the Miami weather had other plans. It was cold and very windy. Never really experienced that in Miami before. The hotel itself could really do with a bit of a face lift. However the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Food was good. The complimentary breakfast was very much like all the hotel, motel breakfast. If you are looking to stay to break a journey or want a place before or after a flight this hotel fits the bill.

Layover from vacation in Cayman Islands, was a very nice place to stay, excellent service good location from airport.
