Cambridge Suites Hotel - Toronto

This is my second time staying here. I stayed here in April for a conference and was so impressed I brought my husband back for a couple’s getaway. I didn’t have complementary breakfast this time but the last time it was great and filling. Not gross. They have a penthouse gym where you can see a great view of Toronto. The rooms are comfortable and you are literally in the middle of everything.

Visited Toronto for Caribana. We were very happy with location and the room was amazingly comfortable for a family of 4

not too thrilled about Toronto, but my stay at the Cambridge was one bright light. The staff was great, the suite was wonderful. the room was quiet, the fitness room left a little to be desired, but you could at least get a workout in. ,

All was good but one of the servers in the restaurant. She insisted a meal ticket for my 5 year old and I already told her that he was not eating.

Exceptionally spacious and comfortable suite in a great location for exploring the city. The front desk and room service staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Two things let my stay down: firstly, the windows in my room let in lots of noise (gaffer tape had been fixed to the window in a shoddy attempt to keep out noise - or possibly drafts), to the extent that I could hear footsteps on an adjacent street at night and lots of traffic in the morning. Thankfully, I had ear plugs, but I would expect better for the price of the room. Secondly, I think it was poor that the breakfast room door was barricaded with chairs to prevent latecomers arriving to eat - but this was AHEAD of the advertised 0930am weekday cut-off time. If the hotel wants guests to leave the breakfast room by 0930, rather than arrive no later then 0925, then they ought to advise that last admittance is at 0900. I was cutting it fine, admittedly, but it was a poor look for the hotel and I did not get the breakfast I had paid for. Otherwise, it was a very good stay.
