Excellent place. Price of breakfast high

Good location for me as I was travelling to Playa de Carmen. Friendly staff, clean rooms. It’s my second time I have stayed there, and both times it’s been good.

Great pool, very spacious room, very clean. Bathtub as well.

The hotel in general was okay what disappointed me was the clarity regarding the breakfast buffet. When I checked in I was given a wristband and told 'this is for the breakfast buffet' so the next morning I went down and had breakfast to then be told I had to pay. After speaking with the front desk they clarified that my 'color' band didn't include breakfast. I stated the other hotel clerk (who was standing next to us) told me it was for the buffet.....she said nothing and I was tired of dealing with it, so I paid. It wasn't about the cost,it was that I was told it was and they didn't recognize their error in communication. My question is 'why put an uncomfortable wristband on a guest to signify they have to pay....just don't give them anything, no confusion.

great facility with local food close by. Bus depot within walking distance. Pool with swim up bar. Be sure to book free beach shuttle early. They start taking names at 6:00 a,m and as they share with another hotel, the 15 passenger bus fills up early.

The hotel staff are excellent, They are friendly and informative and always were willing to help. I very much recommend the hotel for someone that wants to be away from the resort strip and more in the area the local people live, work and relax. Easy to find a taxi and close to the city bus terminal to get around the city and to some tourist sites. Hotel offers free shuttle rides to and from the beach twice a day. Reserve your seat early though. I don’t recall what beach but it’s in the middle of the beach hotel strip near the Hard Rock Cafe. They are doing work on the hotel on the outside but I do not recall hearing any noise that was bothersome. Breakfast was good and included some items not typical American style but more Mexican style and I found very filling and delicious. The cost was for the buffet was expensive RELATIVE to what you can find in some of the little restaurants nearby but I felt was fair priced for the food that was available at the buffet each morning. I was offered the discount multiple times but the gentlemen that helped me when I checked in so there is a discount to be had. The hotel does have some signs of age and I found that not to be a distraction at all since it was very clean and everything worked. Shower had hot water and good pressure at various times of the day/night I used it. I will stay there again for certain!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room are big and suoer clean. The pool has a bar attached to it.
