The Westin Fort Lauderdale

This hotel should not be confused with the Westin Ft. Lauderdale Hotel on the beach...even the staff appear confused about the lack of services and amenities you expect to see provided.here. Poorly lit and defined entrance to hotel and parking was an early indication of low staffing and a lack of space to provide services on the ground level in a high rise setting. This carried over to the interior room space with poor furniture placement and a lack of available amenities, Thank goodness for room service and cell phones. Hint: Glass facade needs patterned film on the windows to prevent bird strikes.

Held a LGTBQ convention that was wild. We had no access to pool or facilities. Partying in the hall until early hours of the morning. Did not clean the room or change sheets/towels. Absolutely unacceptable and we want a refund. Loss of enjoyment.

Great place to stay.

Beautiful Hotel in very good location with very nice decor after renovations which are all done except the pool deck. Alternate pool access available at nearby hotel with shuttle bus service until deck is finished. We had breakfast included with our room which was excellent with good choice and great service. Door man was very helpful with info and nearby restaurants at the beach Ft Lauderdale By the Sea. Quick car trip to Ft Lauderdale Cruise terminal and check in was very professional

Perfect location, right off 95. Not too far from things to do .
