Check in was great, very friendly, explained a bunch of food options. The hotel itself is old, but recently updated. The room was bright but had some oddities like a weird dirty damaged light fixture and bathroom doors that didn't close properly and scuffs along much of the baseboards. The bathroom doesn't have a vent, so when you shower it takes a while to clear the mirrors. The water pressure is hard enough to take your skin off and could probably benefit from a water saving replacement shower head. Biggest disappointment was that even though it was 90 degrees outside, the pool was closed for the season as of 9/2/23. We booked this specifically to spend a bit of time pool side, so not having that was a let down. Check out was less friendly, the guy at the counter didn't ask how our stay was or anything, just took our key and not even a hello or goodbye. Parking is $65 for 24 hours. The "20% off food and beverage" excludes liquor, which was not explained to us, and the print on the coupon code is SOOO tiny you wouldn't notice it. Overall, based on location, I would stay again if the price was right, but don't go here for the pool without checking to see if it will be open.
