Maximilan DaNang Beach Hotel

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and even got us a transfer back to the airport complimentary.

The staff are superb. Ms Ly on reception was lovely, kind and helpful and the man that brought our luggage to the room was super friendly. Everything is brand new in the hotel and the room and bathroom were perfect. The breakfast was excellent as well with great variety. I recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again. Next time i will make sure i ask for a room with a good view! Thankyou very much :)

all good, very friendly and smiling staff. beach, restaurant and shopping in walking distance. hotel placed about in the middle of HoiAn and Bana Hill with the not so golden bridge and fake hands.

Better turn on the light of the corridor in the morning

New hotel with clean, spacious, modern bedroom/bathroom. Hotel staff were very welcoming/friendly. Great location opposite the beach with easy access into the town centre/river area. Would recommend.

I booked an ocean view room, big room and nice view. The exchange rate at hotel is ridiculous, and there no where nearby to change money. For 100 Aud we get 1570,000 Dong in Ho Chi Ming, 1550,000 in Hoi An hotel, and we only get 1500,000 in Maximillan. I suggest you change enough money before your stay. During our stay the fire alarm went off at night. There were no procedure to be follow to evacuate guests and no explanation. All staffs were talking with themselves in their languages. We asked them what’s the problem they told us it was ok just someone press the alarm button. However after they gave us this explanation the alarm went off again. So clearly it was a lie. At the end we wait at the lobby for one hour just to make sure it settle down and nothing will happen. The staffs are generally helpful but how they handle the fire alarm situation was very poor.

The view was gorgeous from our rooms and the pool. Free breakfast buffet was a added bonus and had great delicious options. Would stay here again!

Brand new hotel! The pool is stunning and we found that the best time of day was to relax up there first thing in the morning. The room was clean and spacious and with a fantastic ocean view. Delicious breakfast with lots of variety. We were also grateful for the free airport transfer service. Great location if you want to be by the beach - we didn’t go into the main centre of Da Nang as we just wanted to be at the beach, and there are lots of restaurants nearby with fantastic, fresh seafood. The only downside was that the spa wasn’t opened yet and the hotel didn’t have many nearby recommendations or deals that we could make use of for neighbouring hotels. Nonetheless we didn’t struggle to find other spas to go to, and I’m sure the Maximilian spa will be lovely once opened (like the rest of the hotel!) Also, perhaps the staff could consider changing the music at the pool - pumping top 40 songs at 8am really isn’t necessary when the view is so peaceful! The staff were happy to turn the music down (several guests requested this!) but in general it would probably be better not to blast music so early in the morning. These were very minor issues and no doubt come with being a new hotel, and they didn’t affect our overall view that the hotel was fantastic and we would be more than happy to stay again. The staff were lovely and always happy to help- always greeting you and wishing you a nice day.
