Downtown Grand Las Vegas

Well, the staff was friendly and pleasant mainly at the front desk, valet and restaurant. The noise was ridiculous coming from the Fremont experience in my room and I was on the top floor farthest away. Apparently, the walls between the rooms are very thin because my entire stay I could here the neighboring room and their child screaming all times of the night. I even had to knock at 3am on the wall to ask them to 🤐. I did express my concerns with the front desk staff and was informed that they receive similar complaints from other guests and are working on it. The casino is dated and the casino staff needs to improve their hospitality skills or learn from their valet staff how to be cordial and friendly to everyone. My overall experience is right in the middle because the service was great, the place was clean and the price was reasonable. One thing, nothing major but my room was too far from the lobby at a different tower that took a little while to get too.

Why do we have to pay for valet parking when we are staying at the hotel?

I got a double queens and a single king rooms. The rooms were very clean. The furnitures looked new and well maintained. They have a TV in each room with access to YouTube and Netflix which is nice. However, with the price I paid (ended up paying around $300 for 2 rooms for 1 night, everything included), I would expect at the very least a fridge and maybe an electric kettle, which the lower tier hotels that I’ve stayed at almost always provided. The design in the rooms had severe problems with where the light switches and outlets are. The bathtub somehow only got half of the glass cover, leaving the other half opened and so the floor can easily get splattered with the shower water. Also, not sure if this happens every night, but we had live music going in our rooms from the street that was pretty loud. The hotel is nice enough to provide a white noise maker machine. They stopped at 1am though :/. Overall, I was still happy with how clean and well maintained the rooms were, but not so happy with some inconvenience that seemed to not be up to par with the price I paid.

Nice, spacious rooms at a great rate. Hidden gem in the downtown area. Enjoyed our meals at the in house restaurant.

We love to stay here right off Fremont street. I didn't give 5 stars as we asked and were put on a non smoking floor, clearly smelled weed in our room coming from other rooms. The cleaning crew should be reporting this and fining or moving the people. Their signs are clear no smoking cigarettes, weed or vaping .
