Friendly staff, dining room in morning was cramped and frequently diners suffered bumps from guests going to buffet . Breakfast quality was good. Room was “roomy” but found bed too hard. Great location

On the first occasion we stayed at the hotel no offer of service with luggage at check-in. Check-in on both occasions was a banal, functional, uninspiring exercise. Little care was taken in terms of cleaning the room. Minimal inter-personal exchange, exclusive of breakfast service where staff were helpful, accommodating and convivial.The business centre was a singular computer cum printer on the first floor underneath the staircase - take or leave option..... Regrettably not at all the experience one might anticipate at a 5* hotel.... Asia remains well ahead in this domain! Separately the hotel is well situated close to the city centre, the busy, buoyant Grafton Street, and the charming Stephen's Green park area. Theatres, shopping, dining, bars, and all amenities within walking distance.

Check in was early our room was ready. However our room was at the back of the hotel and there was a lot of building work on outside. It was so noisy I couldn’t take a nap. I was woken up at 7 o clock the following morning by the building work. A staff member walked into our room without knocking while I was getting dressed. My husband said we were still in here and to come back later. It was incredibly embarrassing. The decor is old and drab there was a big rip in our sofa. Not something I’d expect from a 5 star hotel. The only thing I’d say about this hotel is that it’s the location is Amazing it’s in central Dublin.
