Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach

At arrival we were told they didn’t have the room we had made reservations for. We requested a room with a king size bed and were told that all rooms With king size beds were taken or have issues that needed repair. We were given a room with two full size beds, we had no choice but to take it. The towels in the room seem

It was ok....parking cost exorbitant...overall ok

Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Fort Lauderdale for 2 evenings with friends, before our cruise. Amenities were good and Room and hotel clean and tidy. All the staff were very friendly and courteous. But we all agreed with the pricing for food and drinks were a bit extravagant. But that said would recommend to others a stay at the Courtyard is well worth a visit and the location is ideal.

Very good hotel overall. Friendly staff, very pleasant atmosphere. What I will say is nowhere prior to check in was I told my only parking option was a $40 per day valet service. Very disappointing. If it was not for being charged $160 for 4 nights worth of parking without warning ahead of time. I would make this my new place to stay every time I came to Fort Lauderdale if it was not for this.

When we arrived to our room, we had found the room, had been used earlier to our arrival and a wash bag was left in the bathroom. We were moved to another room, which seemed ok until we made a coffee and caught my foot on the gripper rod for the carpet. Looking down we found the carpet all thread. Next day the rooms were cleaned but the condiments had not been placed also the shower gel was empty. Attention to detail is needed in this hotel. Also we had two fire alarms go off and on the first alarm, the staff did not coordinate or give us any information what they wanted us to do.
