Radisson Blu Fargo

They didnt tell us about the construction so we woke up at 9am to the sound of jackhammers, which is super great when you work nights and are exhausted. If i had known that when booking i would have stayed somewhere else. Oh and the front desk tried to move us to a double when i paid for a king and gave us a free cup of coffee which tasted awful. Even worse is that this is the hotel i wanted to have my wedding.

I wish we had know the hotel was under renovation. I wish we had known we’d have to pay for parking. I wish we had know there was no breakfast available (free nor paid). The lobby was nice. The doors, hallways, and common areas throughout the rest of the hotel were old, dirty, poorly functional and mid- reconstruction. The elevator got stuck while we were in it, then dropped us at the wrong floor, so we took the stairs. The room was nicely updated, albeit very bare and minimal, but the room and the whole floor we stayed on smelled like glue and paint. We didn’t get to try the restaurant, and the coffee shop was so-so. No breakfast, but at least we had coffee. I did sleep well, but for the price, I was fairly disappointed.

The new renovations are great! Our room was wonderful! Parking ramp behind the property, connected was no charge on the weekends! Great location. We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant were closed (we were told when we asked if they were open, weren't told at check in), they said they closed due to low occupancy and the Holiday weekend, this was disappointing. Overall its a great property, great location and beautifully updated rooms!

Decent hotel but very outdated, but in the interest of full disclosure they are currently in the remodeling process to become a Radisson Blu. The restaurant (Level 2) isn’t open for breakfast Mon-Fri which I thought was odd. Overall it’s not a bad place to stay just don’t be expecting anything fancy until the remodel is completed.

Very few hotels in downtown Fargo (looks like only one other) so your choices are limited if you're trying to stay there. This hotel was fine but not super fancy. Felt a bit dated but they were doing renovations while I was there. If you're just there for a night, you may be able to park on the street right near the hotel for free. Otherwise, there's paid parking garages. Hotel was super central - just about a block from Broadway.

Clean comfortable rooms; easy parking. Excellent location, good bar/restaurant.

Awesome staff. Pillows a little shallow. Great large rooms in perfect part of town.
