Nightlife in Incheon is mostly centred around Songdo, also known as Songdo International Business District. The ultra-modern area offers spectacular night-time views of the city from many spots, such as Ocean Scope and G-Tower. Check out Janghwa-ri Haeneomi Village if you want to soak in the ambience of a lovely sunset, or head to Bukseong Dock to see the sunset contrasted against a backdrop of industrial imagery.

Bukseong Dock is especially popular with photographers as it offers views that are rarely seen elsewhere in the city. If you don’t mind a bit of a hike, Mt. Cheonglyang offers a panoramic view of Incheon and the Yellow Sea. Check out our guide to the best nightlife experiences in Incheon.

The G-Tower Observatory in the middle of Songdo Central Park should be your main destination if you want to get a full nighttime view of Songdo at a glance. It's in Songdo International Business District (IBD), which has many uniquely designed buildings that are rarely seen elsewhere. The night-time skyline is especially dazzling – looking around at the flowing water, straight roads, and colourful building lights, you just might think that you’ve time-travelled to a city in the future.

Mt. Cheonglyang offers great night-times views of Yeongjong Island and Songdo IBD in Incheon. It’s especially lovely for appreciating the beauty of Incheon Bridge and its 2 characteristic soaring towers. There’s something to catch your eye at every angle, so you won’t have a minute to get bored.

Located close to Incheon City Museum, Mt. Cheonglyang is a particularly famous spot for catching the sunrise. However, don’t worry if you don’t fancy getting out of bed that early because you'll always have a nice view regardless of the time of day.

Janghwa-ri Haeneomi Village is an excellent sunset-viewing spot near the West Sea. The barren landscape of the drained mudflats against the orange glow of the sunset must be seen in person for the full effect. Free parking is available near the village entrance, but be sure to arrive early because the distance to the viewing spot is quite long. It’s a spot that’s highly sought-after by photographers looking to capture the next great sunset photo, so you don’t want to miss out.

Bukseong Dock offers views of the sunset unlike anywhere else in South Korea. Because of the industrial factories surrounding the area, many photographers seek out the dock specifically to capture this unique atmosphere in photos.

To take some great photos, arrive early and settle into a nice spot before sunset. Get ready to stay for a while because the starkly contrasting imagery is simply captivating. It can get rather chilly at night, so be sure to dress warmly.
