"Our second time here and you can not fault this place . The rooms, the staff, the location are just perfect and the dogs are made to feel like VIP’s. The hot tub is lovely and the restaurant has such a nice ambiance about it ( and yes dogs are welcome in there too!)"

"The room was big enough and clean and the bed was good. However, the temperature was much to high. The mobile fan had no effect(just moving the warmth) en was noisy. I missed the fridge and I would have expected more than a bottle of soap in the bathroom since the price for the room was relatively high."

"This is a beautiful hotel , with so many original features . It was clean and the staff were amazing . Especially Julia on reception , Pedro and Junior in the Gallery restaurant , which serves Michelin quality dishes . This is our go to place whenever we are visiting Lavenham . "

"Very underwhelming considering what we paid. Issues with heating when arrived, were resolved within an hour. Initial booking was showing as single occupier, had phoned / emailed with an update to make it 2 people but had not been picked up. Breakfast selection was very limited, table half empty, initially no pastries, Juices etc and had to wait 45 minutes for a cooked breakfast."
