"Good location, Just Ok Hotel - Not great"
I just got done staying here for a week. Feb. 2013. I stayed on the top floor in a double room. Room was very small, two separate beds (though the picture and description listed them together). So I had to sleep on a super small half bed because you can't combine them. Internet signal was ok on the 4th floor, by my friend on the 1st floor had no signal […] and the hotel told him to "go to the Apple store and get our phones fixed"... Meanwhile, they work fine on the 4th floor. Euros... The heat didn't work the first day but they gave me a space heater. There was plenty of hot water. The bathrooms were small but nice. Everything was clean. The breakfast wasn't half bad for $5 euros. The front desk staff was pretty bad. They seemed annoyed when I asked for 3 towels. The check out line was 20 minutes long. They had one slow euro girl working the counter with a line of euro people waiting. I had to get to the airport and didn't have time for a 20 minute delay. The girl said I had to check out, I asked why, she said "because the maid will knock on your door and you won't be there to answer". OH NO! Euros are funny. I just left. The cleaning staff did a good job. It wasn't a horrible hotel, but it wasn't great either. Whatever, I have stayed at worse. The nice thing is that it was about 3 blocks to Leidseplein and the Hardrock. I personally hate virtually all Dutch food, so it was so nice to have a Hard Rock Cafe and coffee shops within 5 minutes walking. DevamıGerçek Expedia misafiri yorumu

This Hotel was fantastic. Stay here if you want a safe area to stay in. It's not particularly close to the red light district so if that's the kind of trip you're looking for don't stay here, however if you want to see the museums, walk around the pretty canal streets then this is a great place for you to stay. "Great for visiting the museums"
This hotel is absolutely great if you are wanting to stay in a convenient location in Amsterdam. The Van Gogh museum was virtually on our doorstep, and the Rijksmuseum not much farther afield. It's also a short walk from one of the more central tourist parts of Amsterdam. The room was very clean, although strangely we had two single beds rather than […] one, but this was fine. The staff upon arrival were very friendly, although I found in the mornings when we went to check out or ask a query, there didn't seem to be anyone at the front desk so you had to wait. The hotel is very well located. Rooms are ok, nothing luxury but the bathroom is very clean and updated. Breakfast is not included, but it's very cheap (only 5 euros). Hotel was a good spot for your money. Right in the middle of the Museum/Fashion Districts, but a good 15-20 minutes walk to the center of Amsterdam. Hotel appears to be a hostel/hotel, but the rooms are nice, clean and breakfast is only €5. Only real complaint is that the employees working behind the desk were extremely rude while we were checking out. "Good news bad news"
Hotel Van Gogh is wonderfully located very close to the 3 major art museums in Amsterdam. We were able to reach it from the airport by train to Amsterdam Central and then tram to the Van Gogh Museum stop. From there the wonderful Dutch residents helped us find it. The hotel is not being well maintained regrettably. Our room was cold the first night […] even with the climate control on high. We found the next day that one of the windows does not close all the way so whatever the temp outside became the temp in the room. Our commode often ran after flushing and took several tries each time to get it to reset. The manager did bring up a portable heater that amply helped heat the room. Our friend also staying in the hotel had to be moved the first night becuase of a commode back up. We stayed 4 nights and room service never happened before about 1530 in the afternoon. The breakfast is a very good value. The hotel is close to the tram stop for the Van Gogh museum but also shares a court yard with a local primary school. "I enjoyed Hotel van Gogh"

Die Lage ist super! Mit dem Bus 197 kommt man direkt vom Flughafen ins Hotel. Wenn jemand die Museen besichtigen möchte, ist die Lage einfach perfekt! Das Zimmer ist klein aber fein. lidt ireterende at morgenmad skulle tilkøbes på stedet til 5 eur. pr måltid, som er en meget rimelig pris. 2X blev vores håndklæder skiftet med 2 andre ikke helt rene - ikke i orden. Hotel wirkt im Eingangsbereich wie ein Hostel, das das gelichnamige Hostel auch den gleichen Eingang hat.. Die Hotelzimmer sind neu gerichtet ; uch das Bad ist neu undrechtgeräumig. Unser Zimmer lag zum Innenhof und damit traumhaft ruhig.
