One bedroom suite best choice. Nice to have a place to lounge around after being a tourist for the day. Location great short walk to Royal Mile, close to bus transit routes. Staff were constantly helpful and always pleasant. Will stay again and definitely recommend.

Good location, short walk to the Royal Mile but because of slight distance it was was very quiet. Breakfast was nice in the morning - good way to start the day! Rooms were spacious, dishwasher, fridge and oven microwave all high quality white goods. No complaints about the hotel and would recommend! This is a cracking hotel, the area is smart, reception is well laid out with great staff. Rooms are large and well furnished- walk in shower with great pressure, ipod dock, tv, fridge, microwave and even a dishwasher! All appears to be brand new so cleanliness is impeccable. Beds comfy, and rooms well sound insulated as never heard a sound from elsewhere. […] Also love the room height windows with good views over the city. Great hotel, would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Edinburgh. We booked into the 1 bed apartment which was very comfortable. Friendly staff offered excellent recomendations for places to eat and drink. Great location a nice 10minute walk to princes street through the oldtown.

We stayed in this hotel over New Year. It was lovely and clean with spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast every morning. If I was visiting the city in the future I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Our room was very well appointed with a small kitchen area with microwave, sink,cutlery and crockery and a small dishwasher. Everything was clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was a quiet location but not too far to walk into town. However I can't give this hotel 5/5 because our room had a connecting door to the next room which was […] not at all soundproofed. Couldn't have chosen a better place for a conference in the Old Town. Very comfortable. All possible amenities. Spotless apartment. Generous breakfast. And the staff were outstanding when a personal problem arose - I was extremely grateful to them. As a woman travelling on my own, this was an excellent place for me to be.

A very warm welcome and room was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety to suit all tastes. We loved the location, convenientally close to all the attractions yet away from any traffic noise and in a pleasant area near to the University and the Meadows park. It couldn't have been better. The Marriott Residence is perfectly situated, ten minutes walk to Waverley Station, Princes street. The is whole building is very new, housekeeping immaculate and the staff very helpful and friendly. The apartment suite was ideal with the living and kitchenette seperate from the bedroom and furnished very tasefully. Also we heard no noise in our suite […] from the hallways, other rooms and outside.The staff can also have any food,drink etc shopping ordered and delivered for you to your apartment. Large room with sofa bed, kitchen area and bathroom. Ipod dock alarm clock. Clean and new with ice maker machine on every even numbered floor. Great breakfast including take away cups for hot drinks. Easy walk from old town (about 5 minutes from Greyfriars). Starbucks and Sainsburys Local in nearby building also.

Was better than I expected.......usually take reviews with a pinch of salt but was massively suprised.....the hotel lived up to all descriptions. Would recommend to everyone, great value for money for short or long stay as you get a mini kitchen if you want to eat in....buffet breakfast was provided with no extra cost which was great as all other hotels […] I had looked at charged £7-10 each per day. Location was great,10mins from the royal mile and castle. Also had pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and supermarket just around the corner. Lovely big room, very comfortable sleek and modern. The staff couldn't have been nicer as well. The location up behind the old hospital is great and there's a supermarket in the same development. It is also nice and quiet at night. Could perhaps use some instructions in the room on how to work the little oven/microwave thing.

We were very pleased with the Mariott and I would go as far to say that it was on of the Mariottt hotel accommodations we have stayed. The staff was excellent, the breakffast that was part of the room cost was diverse an large, and well beyond what we would have typically received in the United States, and matched any of the better hotels we stayed […] in the UK. The location was excellent, next. To the University of Edinburgh, yet not feeling as though you were near any college. In addition, the location was blocks from the Roylal Mile, about it's half mile point, so an east walk to the palace or castle. When I return to Edinburgh, this will certainly be my first choice for lodging. Devamı

The hotel is in the middle of a development area so the surroundings are not completed although not an inconvenience. The only issue was that there was little variety in the breakfast offering.

We found the brand new Residence Inn to be great value for money. It has an excellent location right in the heart of Edinburgh walking distance to all the sights. The in room facilities were fabulous especially the rain shower and quality linen. Although we didn't really use the kitchenette we were fascinated by the choice of including an oven, but […] not a cook top! While the Residence Inn typically caters for longer stays, we found it to be a very workable option for a weekend trip. Devamı

The hotel room and facilities were of an exceptionally high standard, the rooms were well equipped with modern facilities and provided an extremely professional service. Breakfast was higher than expectations. Location perfect for access to all the must-see sights. Highly recommended.

The hotel staff were excellent, the hotel room was great layout with having a seating area and kitchenette. The only downside to this great hotel was the temperature control in the room and the corridor. I had read reviews about the hotel having this problem on the 7th floor and thought it couldn't be that bad. It was very hot indeed, we were out in […] Edinburgh all day and when we came back into the hotel to shower up for the Madonna concert we couldn't wait to get back out. We had a lovely stay. The hotel was Immaculate and the staff we very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite which had its own kitchen area which was very handy. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in Edingburgh.

Its a great place to come and chill with more than just a bed and ensuite toilet. The apart/hotel idea where we had a sofa a kitchenette & a bed and bathroom was just perfect for us. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it could've been longer. The staff were friendly, helpful; the room clean, modern, furnished beautifully; the amenities excellent: kitchenette with micro, fridge, utensils. Bathroom was good sized and everything worked. Our ONLY suggestions: We had difficulty finding hotel. Because it's new it did not appear […] on our GPS. There were no signs on the street to the hotel, and when we finally found it, there were no instructions in Parking Garage.
