Right behind the 5 star Lalit so good neighbourhood. Walking distance to Connaught Place and various bazaars. I only had breakfast but it was great and good service around that. Room was tourist hotel class so good enough.

Hotel Emarald is located near Connaught Place and the New Delhi Train Station. The room was very modern and clean, with a shower and toilet. You need to run the water for at least 10 minutes to get warm, but it will eventually be hot. It is about a 30-minute walk to the train station, and not an easy route to follow, so I would recommend taking a cab […] or autorickshaw. The location of the hotel is a little difficult to find at first, so you should tell your driver it is near World Trade Center or LaLit hotel. The staff were very helpful, but not overly friendly. Free breakfast is included with the room, although it is nothing to get excited about. What you should get excited about is that the wifi internet actually works, which we have found rare while traveling over seas. Devamı

Hotel Emarald, New Delhi, India. Booked via Hotels.com. Stayed 4 days/3 nights. Twin Bed This property is location is location, location, location. Neighborhood is great and safe. Walking distance to Connaught Place, the center of Delhi, with bunch of shops, street market, Rajiv Chowk & Barakhamba road metro station, buses, park, restaurants, underground […] market, walking distance to Jantar mantar, almost all airline offices, post office, etc (list goes on). Rooms where below average clean. Bathroom was under lighted. Their is a railway right behind the hotel. Room is not sound proof. We where not able to sleep all night. Train blows air horn like every 30-mins. The lights keeps fluctuating all day and night. Another problem was you don't have keys to your room. Means every time you want to get into room, you have to wait until someone opens it for you. Breakfast was included in our package. But it was Cold every single day, except the Masala tea which was the best thing they have. Boiled eggs where under cooked. They charge Rs 150/person for breakfast if its not included. Which is not worth it. I would rather go to Connaught Place, pay little more for 2 people and have a la carte breakfast. There are no safe in rooms. It seems like their was only one staff member that was working. Everybody else will work if boss is walking by or is around. Don't take it as a complain, but if you can improve in this areas, this will be the best rated hotel near Connaught place. I plan to visit again. I would not stay their again. Devamı

Nothing works right in this hotel apart from the courtesy and effusiveness of the staff as well as the clean bedroom. Nightmare started from my 1st night; couldn't get hot water to take a shower. Then the WIFI went down. It was worse yet the following morning when they had to bring in 2 buckets of hot water for me to take a bath after much ado and loss […] of time - in a 4 star hotel? Internet was still down next morning and my day was in disarray already. Although they eventually changed my room when I got back, it really was no better - water from the shower was barely luke-warm. The bathrooms are dysfunctional and poorly appointed - no towel racks for instance. I would not stay at this hotel even if it was for free. It should be delisted or at least reclassified. Devamı
