Crystal Beach Hotel - Ocean City

You can't beat this location - within walking distance to the attractions on the boardwalk (probably 1-2 miles to the opposite side of the boardwalk with the amusement park). The view from our ocean front room was impeccable and the beach was calm and clean. The room was another story. There were visible stains everywhere, the worst of which was on […] the blanket between the sheet and comforter that was a large blood stain. Everything needs to be updated, especially the carpet and bathroom. The kitchenette was convenient with a microwave, fridge, and sink, but it was definitely outdated and also dirty. The beds are very old and don't have the "new" thing underneath where it keeps things from sliding under, and you do not want to look under the beds, trust me! The room was only worth its price for the view and location, without both of those, I would have checked out immediately. The staff was friendly for the most part, and the hotel was quiet. Devamı

well the location was ideal, right on the boardwalk at 25th st. but other than that everything else lacked. the beds were hard as rocks, we had no hot water all day one day, there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling and walls in the shower and we got locked out of our room cause our keys got deactivated. will never stay again. the thunderbird is […] the only place i will ever stay down there, unfortunately they were not opened yet, it was still off season. We had no hot water on a cold, rainy day at the shore. Kind of disappointing. Other wise, it was just ok. For the money we paid, I expect a little more. Will go somewhere else next time.

The hotel was fine for the price that we paid. The location was great, right on the boardwalk. It was off season, so no pool. The room was fine with a balcony looking over the beach. The only issue was the lock on the sliding door was a bit hard to set. Otherwise, I would stay again.

Granted ti was off-season, but the service personel in this town were NOT ready - and acted as they were doing you a favor to do their jobs, wait on you and take your money. Bring your own towels to this hotel because theirs are like sandpaper and will take off a layer of skin if you wash your face. ' The beds looked ok but were old and lumpy and the […] pillows were thin. Take your own bedding. The only good thing was the balcony facing the beach and the morning of check out they beach crew woke me up at 7 grating the beach.and then the key wouldn't work in the door by 9. Everything was fine. The location was perfect. Oceanfront room on the 5th floor had the best view, even when I opened my eyes the next morning from the bed! Only 2 things, first there was not silverware or dishes at all. Our room was labeled with "kitchnette". I guess I thought more kitchen, but it did have a toaster! We had a great time at the Crystal Beach Hotel in Ocean City. the rooms were clean and staff was friendly. It was on the boardwalk so we were able to walk to most places. Would recommend this hotel.

I thought the room was big for an economy hotel. The view of the ocean was great. The pillows were a little small and the bed was a little hard, but I had brought pillows with me. The room was a nice size, with a balcony. Only real problem was it smelled musty and the beds are very uncomfortable. I'm glad that I brought my own pillows. It said we had ocean view, in fact we had a side room. You can only partially see the ocean. Over-all Was a nice stay.

We stayed later in the year after a lot of local business closed down for the season so it was very quiet. Our room was smaller than I expected but that was not really a problem. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. The only complaint I had was that the pillows were not the greatest. Luckily I saw this in the photos and brought my […] own from home. The hotel in OC Maryland was spacious, right on the boardwalk and desk staff was helpful and friendly.

Balcony was perfect for sitting out on and looking out at the ocean even from the side view rooms Rooms were very clean, staff was corteous,parking convenient. Close to all restaurants and the boardwalk is right there on the beach. Would have liked to stay longer..even check in and check out was simple and quick !!! It was a nice hotel however they should have a warning about the ceramic floor, letting you know that if it gets water on it, it becomes very slippery. I did not notice the floor had a wet spot on it and I slipped and fell. Went down on both knees and cut my arm. I also use a cane to walk because I have a bad back and a knee replacement. No, its not the cleanest, friendliest, or up to date hotel on the strip, but for what we paid I wasnt disappointed

Highly recommend this to families who want to be close to the beach and boardwalk without paying a crazy price. It's right at the top end of the boardwalk so away from the loud noises at night. Personnel were very, very nice.

When we checked in, we were the first to use hotels.com to book this hotel and the gentleman who checked us in wasn't very friendly when I asked what the issue was. I work in a hotel, so I guess I just expect a little more guest service. The pictures on the website aren't exactly what it looks like but it was decent. My biggest issue was the carpet. […] It just didn't feel clean and we didn't feel comfortable without shoes on. The water also didn't drain in the tub well. The location was great though. It's at the quiet end of the Boardwalk and for the price, you can't really beat the location. Our housekeeper was extremely friendly when we had an issue with our room keys and the front desk didn't help. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, just don't expect it to be a "fancy" place.
