Excellent Resort and family atmosphere. The facilities are very well maintained and the suite was immaculate upon arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We did a quick overnight trip to Orlando due to a great fare on Jetblue - $29 roundtrip! I knew I wanted to stay on property so we didn't need to rent a car and just use the Disney Express bus. It was great for that reason. Having recently stayed at the All Stars Sports hotel - the Art of Animation is exactly the same layout in rooms and hotel except […] for the cartoon decorations. The pool at Art of Animation is better than the All Sports hotel pool. we literally just stayed overnight. I have to say that the Front desk personnel were terrific and got us checked in and ticketed for the water park quickly. Our rooms were in the Little Mermaid area which is a LONG walk from the front desk. Especially during a FL rainstorm as we had. We loved the Lion King walkways and caves - they were terrific. The pool was adorable - no diving board or slides though which my son loves. Food was the basic dining experience -cafeteria style. Pizza is only room service delivery. The gentleman who delivered our pizza was fantastic! Took the bus to and from the waterpark the next day and then left for the airport. Devamı

This is a really cool hotel with movie art all over the place and it isba really big resort with multiple buildings. We stayed in the little mermaid room and it was nice. It was a bit small. The main pool is really nice and like i said before, cool. They actually have music playing under water and you can only hear it when you are under. It would be […] better if they actually played disney movie music but it was mostly jazz and country (no clue why but it was still a cool effect). Also the grounds are pretty amazing, they have lion king monuments all over in the lion king section, pretty dam cool. Overall, this is a fun place to stay but keep in mind, there are tons of children here and if you are trying to minimize being around a bunch of whiny kids, there are better options. Devamı

Walk around and notice the condition of the floors in the lobby, restaurant, an store. Surprisingly, the floors are all cracked and worn looking. It took away from the feel of the hotel. Other than that, the service and room cleanliness was good. We couldn't enjoy the splash zone---they were repairing it. Loved how clean and new everything was. People complain about the distance of the mermaid rooms, and our building wasn't the furthest, but unless you have a lot of trouble walking or very small children it was really no big deal and a very pleasant walk to the buses and main building. We loved the hotel, it was a great location and very well built. My 2yo was excited with all the Disney characters on the walls and on/in the buildings. The transport to the parks was amazing. They were very good with kids. The only downfall was the themed buildings are set quite a distance apart and there is no undercover walkways. The day we arrived […] we had heavy set in rain and there was no way of getting our luggage to our room safely. All our luggage was wet inside as we had to transport it ourselves through deep puddles and quite a distance. They have a bell service but it wasnt workin in the rain. No cellphone or text service in rooms due to "steel reinforced walls", overstimulating decor at pools (eg, 30foot tall evil octopus witch overlooking rooms and pool), not even a hot pot in room for coffe and no way toheat anything for kids/babies. and the hotel staff did not know what they wete doing, to put it kindly. Very clean resort with very colorful décor and great service. First when we get there, we arrived very early, 3 hours before normal check-in time. Even since we were so early they still got us a room, and not only that, the king bed we requested was not available at that time, so they gave us a free upgrade to a full suite, which was almost double the […] rate of what we paid. We were totally surprised by that. The pools there are very large and colorful with characters from Cars, Finding Nemo, Lion King, and Little Mermaid. And they have music playing under the water in the pools also, thought that was neat. Definitely geared toward children. No hot tubs in the resort. There are free life vests for kids and locker rooms and bathrooms around the pools. Rooms were designed well and lots of space, but the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, that is the only issue we had with the resort, Food court had much better choices than the last time we were at Disney, in terms of healthier items to choose from, and that goes for all the other places to eat throughout Disney too. If you are taking children I would definitely recommend staying here. Devamı

Loved it...my daughter loved the Ariel room...very clean rooms and campus, very nice staff all the way around, very close to Disney magic kingdom, have recommended to friends and will stay again

The rooms are absolutely delightful. Because my husband worked on the Little Mermaid ride in Fantasyland, we wanted to stay in the Little Mermaid portion of the Art of Animation Resort. However, when we arrived in the room, one of the bedspreads was missing, and towels were scattered about, as if housekeeping got called away in the middle of working […] on it. This hotel was awesome. Our seven year-old loved the decor on all the buildings and tried all three pools and two play areas. My only complaint was the layout. We stayed previously at the movie resort. That hotel had a circular layout so that the main building was central to all guests no matter which building you were in. Additionally, the buildings […] were of the same construction and just differed by theme. At Animation hotel, the construction style of the little mermaid building differed from the other three themed buildings which enjoyed the same construction style. And the layout was linear overall with the little mermaid building being furthest away from the main building. So if you pick the little mermaid building be prepared to feel like the odd man out. Disney should have intermixed the cheap rooms with the expensive ones instead of being so obvious with the differentiation! Devamı

This hotel offers a good value for families looking to be inside the Walt Disney World resort complex while sticking to a budget. The decor is perfect for kids, with colorful characters from several Disney animated films (great for photos). Great hotel. Staff was very nice. Wonderful staff at the poolside bar. The only negative was there were a few Cheerios under our nightstand area by the bed which tells me they did not vacuum very well and in the morning the maid parked her cart right outside my window as I was looking out it, blocking my view!

Aside from zero cell phone service (but we are in vacation do we REALLY need to be connected all the time?), we very much enjoyed our week at Art of Animation. We have plans to return in September.

Staying at this hotel was so much fun, for kids and adults! Our Finding Nemo Family Suite was a great size, beautifully decorated and so clean. The buses from the hotel to the Disney parks ran on time, which could not be said for some of the other Disney resorts where we've stayed.

This was great! The front desk was so friendly and gave us a free upgraded room! We are annual passholders and rarely stay on Disney property but, splurged and the kids and so much fun. The pool area, the hotel room was great in the Cars suite! We loved it! We did not eat there, so I can not say anything about the food. I would stay here again!

Disney's Art of Animation resort offers service well above its price level. Everything was new and clean, as it should be for a resort less than one year old. However, the service was great, there were hardly any "growing pains", and the Disney shuttle service to the airport and parks is truly Magical. The pools should be heated, as they were quite […] cold during our stay in late April and people want to swim when in Florida. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were very spacious. The bathroom was very big which helps with children. The staff was incredibly nice. The greeters for children were amazing with them. Lifeguards on duty at the pools took their jobs seriously continuously watching the children, never looking away from pool. A great place to stay if you have youngish kids but not really for just adults. The food hall is ok but a little pricey (what isn't at Disney?) and I thought that breakfast could have started a little earlier than 7--especially if you want to get to the parks early. As you would expect from a Disney property this was a good value and a great deal of fun for our kids. We liked this theme better than some of the other Disney value hotels we had stayed at previously. We missed having a coffee maker and microwave but managed to survive anyway. The rooms are a little small and the beds less than luxurious but overall […] it was a fine value for the money especially when you factor in the bus service to all the parks. Our only disappointing factor was that our car was absolutely overrun with ants in the parking lot. Make sure your kids haven't spilled a cookie or you may have a problem. Devamı

If you plan to just need a cute place on the Disney Property to put your head down at night, this is just what you are looking for. Certainly not what many of the on property hotels offers, but also not priced like them. Good value for money, but definitely no luxury. If you plan to spend most of your awake time at the parks and attractions, this is […] great. My chief complaint, and they are aware of it, is very poor cellular phone and texting coverage for AT&T. Others told me Verizon and Sprint were no better. It seems to be the construction of the buildings, but when traveling with a few small children parents need to be able to quickly communicate if they become separated. The hotel ( really a motel) is conveniently located close to I4 if you are driving there, but is a considerable distance by the provided buses (promised for every 20 minutes but more like 35 to 45 minutes) to the parks. Walls should be a lot more sound deadening between the rooms. Devamı

The room itself and the service provided at the hotel were excellent. The only real criticism I have for the Art of Animation would be the quality of the mattresses they are using. I have stayed at other "value" resorts and do not recall them having such stiff, low quality mattresses. Otherwise this hotel is very well themed and laid out, with much […] less walking distance between the farthest point of the hotel and the bus stop area as compared with other value resorts. Room was very clean but quite small. There was a fridge but no coffe making facilities. Staff were polite and helpful. The building was quite far away from main reception and facilities.. Pools were nice Food court was excellent. The extra magic hours were bonus. Overall nice stay only down side was very busy hotel and quite noisy.

clean rooms and fun for kids, we stayed in building no 7 with the mermaid theme. The 3year old loved it. Pool is very nice. Only thing is the food is typical fried stuff and not kids healthy and more like a canteen.

We have stayed at most of the on property resorts from value to the top. Got a suite (Finding Nemo Suite) here. Best location on the property and very spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel restaurant was good with decent variety and well run. we did not find it overly crowded or loud and it was Easter weekend. Pool was heated and there is always something […] doing for activities especially for the kids. Bus transport was excellent, never had much of a wait to or from parks/hotel. Never even saw Cars section or Little Mermaid section. Huge resort. Again, if you can do it, get the Finding Nemo suites for best location that is central to everything. Devamı

It was a nice stay. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend that you invest in a suite as opposed to one room for a family of four. Also take note of how far your room will be from the dining area. Ground transportation was slow compared to other resorts.
