The room that we had did not accommodate all of us and we had to pay for an additional room. If you like nightclubs this would be a great place to stay. We would have been better off staying in a different area in a bigger hotel as I had my 8 yr old with me. The rooms are great I just don't think it's a good location if your a family. I'm not sure how this hotel received such high reviews, but it is definitely not a place I would stay at again. Overall, the hotel is TINY, in a noisy location, and had poor service. The pictures shown make the hotel and its rooms seem much nicer than it actually is. The major issues we encountered: - Bad service quality - We had some issues with our […] room that we tried to explain to the receptionist who was very rude to us and basically didn't want to listen at all. He kept interrupting and would not let us explain the situation. He said it was our fault we misinterpreted the room description (which was more a lie than a "misinterpretation") and that the room was for "little people". I have never been treated so poorly by hotel staff. - Noise level - This hotel is located in an area where there are a lot of bars, restaurants, and clubs. It is very loud at night. We had to keep the windows closed at all times, and I slept with earplugs but could still hear the noise outside. - Tiny rooms - We booked a room that was supposed to fit 3 people, but their rooms are so small they barely fit two. In fact, we were told that our room was quite large compared to some of the others. We had to pay extra to get upgraded to a suite. Our original room had 2 twin beds and they added a rollaway at the foot of the 2 beds, which left absolutely no room for our luggage or us to walk around. - Dirty and smelly - Our suite that we upgraded to smelled really bad and on our first night, we could see that the floors clearly had not been cleaned. The bathroom smelled the worst and we had to keep the door closed at night. - Bad breakfast - They have very little variety in their breakfast and there was basically nothing to eat. Again, I would definitely not stay here again or recommend anyone else to stay here. The hotel was not worth the price we paid and there are definitely better options. Devamı

Okay, I stayed at ODDA for seven days, so I think I have a pretty good beat on this place. Staff - 5 stars. Top-notch people there, always willing to help you out whenever possible. They certainly made the stay more enjoyable. Cleanliness - 4 stars. Pretty clean hotel, although the extra "valve" in the toilet weirded me a bit (it you stay there, you'll […] see what I mean). Overall very clean though. Price - 3 stars. I booked through Hotels.com and got a great rate, but had a disagreement with management (see below), therefore I'm putting it at three stars instead of two. Management - 2 stars. I found out on Monday that I was going to be in Izmir Wednesday night and informed the front desk. They said I had to call Hotels.com, which then said I needed to get permission from management to "check-out early." So I was going to be gone Wednesday, but back for Thursday, yet the management decided they would not allow me to change my reservation, even though it was WELL more than 24-hours notice. The manager was even a bit rude about it. I pointed out that had I not checked in yet, I could cancel my booking (he agreed), but he still wouldn't budge. Too bad too, because I need to be back in the city next week and because of this I will not be staying at ODDA. Rooms - 3 stars. Very clean, very nice, but also very small. Not sure why they are quite as small as they are, but it's almost uncomfortably so. Area - 3 stars. Very loud (although I had no trouble sleeping up on the third floor), but plenty to do. Just don't try and go to any of the bars/clubs as a single male, they have no issue discriminating against you (although my guess is that this isn't specific to the Taksim area, but Istanbul - and Turkey - in general). Though the rooms were tiny, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was clean. Quaint set up, this definitely isn't a downtown high rise. The surrounding area is easily one of the most active nightlife scenes in the city, with loud club music clearly audible with the windows open until about 4 or 5am every evening. Great restaurants, shopping, and obviously bars/clubs all within walking distance, and the main metro station is a 5 minute walk away. Hotel doesn't meet 4 star rating- room was small and cold- bathroom floor stained and grubby- and toilet paper holder strangely positioned. Away from the rat race of tourists rush but in the art of the modern city. Close to all attractions. Clean and with great service. Awesome night life.

I would recommend this hotel for its proximity to the dining, and shopping, the professionalism of its staff and their friendliness. The interior is very comfortable, and the rooms are very clean. My only word of caution is that the surrounding area is too loud. We were on the 6th floor and we could hear the music thumping from the surrounding night […] clubs all night long. The ODDA hotel is a very clean and nice hotel. We found our room very comfortable and the service was very nice. The location is great if you want to stay in a neighborhood that is in the heart of the action where there are many locals as well as some tourists. The area is a walk and short tram ride away from most of the major sites of the city, but […] is the heart of the nightlife. This is a plus for those who want to be out at the bars until 4am every night, or who are very sound sleepers. However, if you are a light sleeper and like quiet, this is really not the place for you. The bars and clubs all around the hotel are open every night of the week until at least 4am and the noise and bass carry into the hotel rooms. Bring your ear plugs! Devamı

A very pleasant hotel. For a 4star it was luxurious! The staff were very helpful and cheerful each day. The location was very good for shopping. The only small criticism was the noise from restaurants and night clubs 12-2am but the double glazing shut most of it out. The continental breakfast was OK.

Great location! Steps from main shopping/eating street and Taksim square. It is noisy at night because it is on a small street that is a night club area, but it is worth it because you are in such a fantastic location. It is about a 15 minute cab ride to the old town where most sightseeing is, but this is a fun location for after sight seeing.

Only stay here if you are planning on going out every night and staying out. Rooms are very, very noisy from surrounding bars/nightclubs which go all night. So unless you are planning on going out all night or are a very, very heavy sleeper - stay somewhere else. When you are shown to your room, they make a point to have the windows open and to close […] them in front of you to show that it blocks the noise out, which it does block out general street noise at 6pm in the evening, but the bars haven't started pumping their music yet!!! Cleaners are a bit hit and miss, bathroom still have dirty make up brushes on the floor from a previous guest and it was pick up and placed with my things by the cleaner in the morning. yuck. Front desk staff aren't the most helpful when asking for tips and touristical advice. Free transfers for staying more than 3 nights as stated on their website isn't available to guests who don't book directly with the hotel. Devamı

The hotel is fairly new, a few things are missing like a mirror in the room, light over the desk when you use the computer. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is fine would need a fruit selection and cereale.

Se volete un hotel arredato con grande gusto, in una posizione strategica per visitare la città e fare un pò di vita notturna, non perdete questa new entry in città. Il personale è gentile ed efficiente, le camere sono pulite e il bagno è grande e funzionale. Uniche note negative: un pò di confusione di notte nelle strade circostanti e la colazione […] non a buffet.... ma proprio volendo andare a cercare il pelo nell'uovo! Super hotel + service, men det hotellet ligger desværre i den forkerte bydel på discotekgaden hvor der bliver festet HVER nat, så der er meget larm. Derfor kan jeg ikke anbefale dette hotel.

Di nuova ristrutturazione, buono il prezzo, dovrebbe essere migliorata la colazione.
