This hotel was great! We stayed here because it was $$$ a night cheaper than a hotel in the city and it turned out to be an amazing value!!! The rooms are a good size, they all have an amazing view of the city, the lounge was really well done and the roof top bar was superb!! My only negative was how loude the street was in the morning... Overall it was a great hotel. It was not far from N.Y.C. at all. The hotel had a shuttle that would take you into the city and pick you up as well. The shuttle started at 7:00a.m. and the final pickup in N.Y.C. was at 11:30p.m. The hotel had a bar/eatery which turned into a night club on Saturday night. The staff where very helpful. The surrounding […] area was a little bit unusual. The hotel is in the middle of a factory/industrial type neighborhood. I will recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again. Devamı

I stayed here for 3 nights. View from my room is very very good. I can see building in Manhattan and queen bridge with clearly all day and nights. room very clean. Comfortable to manhattan since hotel provide shuttle round trip every hour. Hotel not far from Metro, only 5 minutes walk. Hotel's staff very good and helpful. The hotel is nice and comfortable. The hotels folks were very helpful and easy to work with. Go to the roof there is a vey nice roof bar area that opens in may but is accessible all year around. Next best thing to staying right in Manhattan, but at a fraction of the price. Hotel shuttles were very convenient from and back to the hotel. You get dropped off/picked up in a good area right near a subway station and within walking distance of all the main attractions, so getting around was no problem at all. Our bed was very comfortable, enjoyed […] the lounge downstairs, outstanding view of Manhattan from the rooftop and even from our 3rd floor room. The staff were all very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We only had a couple of minor concerns: a lack of drawer space to store our clothes, it would have been nice to have had a bar of soap supplied in addition to the shower gel. The continental breakfast was adequate, fruit was fresh, but would like to have had a couple of other choices such as hot/cold cereal. Overall we were very impressed with the hotel. We weren't back home 48 hours and have already recommended the Z to at least 3 friends. We will definitely be back! Devamı

All hotel rooms have a great Manhattan view, but they are not spacious. The sink is out of the bathroom. However the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is only one stop away from Manhattan. After getting out of Queensboro Subway station, it takes 5-10 minutes to reach the hotel by walking. It's safe to walk. The hotel also provide a shuttle services […] from the hotel to Lexington avenue every hour on the hour and also from lexington to the hotel every hour on the half hour. Alternatively you can take a taxi, it costs around USD 10-15 from Manhattan. All phone calls are free! Breakfasts are not satisfactory. The roof should be visited. It has a great view of Manhattan. We picked this because it was convenient to the wedding we were going to. The room was very nice and the staff were very helpful when we were there. We had a great view of Manhattan when it wasn't raining. The location is in an industrial neighbourhood but Manhattan is only 1 or 2 subway stops away. Why stay here?The view! Definitely the view. But the room, the service, the subway close by.. everything was great. Staying at this hotel really contributed to our New York experience and we will definitely recommend it to others! The view of our 8 th floor hotelroom really was exactly like the professional pictures on this website. Especially at night […] when the city lights are on, the skyline and Queens Borough bridge are spectaular. You really get to enjoy tyhe city even when you are in your hotelroom. The room itself was very nice, the bed and shower were great and the design combined with the view... we loved it. The service was as it should be, everyone was friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned every day. We also had dinner in the restaurant/bar twice and enjoyed the food. The location is great because you get the view and it takes just a few minutes to get into the city. We bought a subway card for a whole week, which is great (and needed) to get around in the city, but also to get to the hotel. It is just a few minutes walk away from a subway station (Queensborough Plaza) and just two stops away from Times Square. We did not really check out the neighborhood of the hotel, because we spend most of our time in the city. What we could see from the walk to the subway was mostly garages and industrial buildings. The hotel offered a map that showed a few restaurants close to the hotel. I read reviews of people who did not want to walk to the subway at night. We did not have a problem with it at all. But if you do, you can take the hotel's shuttle service which is a limousine that goes about every half hour from the city to the hotel. Devamı

Very nice, free transportation to and from Manhattan.

We stay for 9 days. It was a great stay!! The location is great,it's a workers neighborhood , but is calm. Although who cares about neighborhood, if you have a limo every hour, which drive you to Manhattan for free? It saves a lot of money!! The Z is absolutely amazing. The rooms are awesome and that all rooms face Manhattan is a great, the view is astounding.

Liked everything about my stay except being over charged for drinks in the bar. Need to make sure they don't charge you for top shelf if you order the well drinks. Other then that great view and nice staff.

nice view, new style room would work great with the younger client. It is also very economical, but the location might not be the best.

the hotel was rather austere but clean. There is no gym and no parking, both of which are an inconvenience. For people wanting to stay in Long Island City, it is an option as there aren't too many.

The Z Hotel was incredible! Of the three hotels I stayed at during my vacation, Z was by and far the best! Initially, I booked the room because it was within my budget and received great reviews. Once I checked in, the service was second to none. The staff was very helpful finding my way to the Subway Station and the JFK Airport. The room was immaculate. […] The style of the room was perfect for the urban NYC lifestyle. Furthermore, it was a short walk to the Subway, making life easy upon my late-night returns. We loved this hotel! It's a quick, cheap taxi ride from LaGuardia airport. Upon walking in, I asked for a room on a higher floor. We walked up to our room, on the 11th floor (the highest floor with rooms), and opened our door. We had the BEST view of Manhattan. It was incredible. I would stay here again JUST for the view, but there are many more reasons […] to stay here. I believe every guest room has a view of Manhattan, because there are lounges on the opposite side of the hallways. The hotel offers a FREE continental breakfast every day, which is the best way to start a sightseeing day in NYC. They had things like cereal, yogurt, pastries, fruit, toast, juice, water, etc. Every hour (8am, 9am, etc.) they have a limo that'll take hotel guests across the river to Manhattan (58th and xxxxxx, I believe) for free, which was perfect for us. There was always room in the limo for the 3 of us travelling. The limo also picks guest up in Manhattan (8:30am, 9:30am, etc.). One morning, we were the only people in the limo and we asked the driver about the Central Park Zoo, he looked it up on his phone and brought us right in front of it. Can't get much better than that! We didn't venture out into the neighborhood around the hotel at all, as it did not look very inviting. I don't think there's a whole lot around it anyways, mostly industrial buildings. Don't let this keep you away though. I really have nothing negative to say about this place. Anytime we visit NYC, we will most likely come back to this hotel. For the price we paid, no other hotel in NYC could come close to the value Z Hotel offers (free wifi, continental breakfast, transportation to the city). Devamı

I stayed at the Z Nyc Hotel for three nights. I had an amazing stay. The views from the rooms and roof are breathtaking. The hotel staff was friendly and tended to every need I had with a positive attitude. The surrounding area is the only negative; few places to eat or sightsee, but the Manhattan is just 5-10 mins away on the shuttle. The subway is […] also a five minute walk away if ud like to venture out on foot. The decor of the hotel made me feel at home. I would definately stay at this hotel again. Nice hotel at reasonable price in New York if you don't mind the location. It is not in the heart of Manhattan but hotel provide hourly free shuttle service to City. There is also subway station nearby, but may be a bit inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. Rooms come with free breakfast and it is really quite good. Free wifi in rooms too. Nice place and perfect for the money. Weak breakfast and a little bit noisy, because of the Bridge nearby. But a FANTASTIC VIEW from nearly every room and very nice rooms, complemtary WLAN and very nice staff. The limo-service to Manhatten is also very nice and cool. I enjoyed my stay very much.

I was not impress with this hotel.... Service up front were not pleasant... No welcoming smile, felt like I was disturbing their conversation at the front desk.... Second time I went bye the front desk, same thing... Just people gossiping and laying against the counter.

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. We got a room on the 11th floor with a breathtaking view of the city during the day and night. If you plan on renting a car, it is hard to find parking during the week, but if you're looking to walk on foot they have a complimentary driver that takes you into Lexington Avenue and drops you off. I was very happy with my stay at the Z hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfy. And, the location of the hotel is convenient. I highly recommend it and will stay there again.

We stayed at the Z on a friday night.Rooms are insanely small...the pictures are decieving..however the view to nyc is worth it..no ice machines, but the front desk had no problem bringing up bag of ice...all the rooms have a city view,.so don't worry, however u will need a high floor so ask for it

I booked a Superior Queen. Hotel is very nice but the location...not so much. Upside: great value, wonderful staff, free calls wi-fi and shuttle into Manhattan every hour. I had free breakfast option. Fanastic view of the Manhattan skyline. Downside: there's nothing in the immediate area as it's an industrial zone. the neighborhood is a little rough. […] The shuttle is a nice feature, but the location is really inconvenient.The subway is a 15 minute walk which is ok in good weather if you have no baggage, so plan for a lot of commuting down time. They are not set up for business travelers. I lost my wi-fi connection the end of my first day and they were not able to get a signal for the next two days, which is really bad for business. There is no business center or facilities so you're on your own if you are on a business trip and need printer or desktop backup. The hotel and view look MUCH nicer in pictures than in person. I was excited to stay but fairly disappointed... the hotel isn't bad but isn't great, and the surrounding neighborhood is pretty ghetto. And by pretty ghetto I mean VERY ghetto. And no parking on site, so you have to leave your car on the street. Wouldn't stay again. Located just over the Queensboro bridge, this hotel offers amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. The price per night is half what hotels go for on Manhattan. Very modern hotel with all the amenities. Rooms aren't tiny and larger than some other "non-chain" hotels I've stayed in. I don't know why some other reviews are so harsh about this hotel. if you dont understand the NY scene then this is not the place for you. But if you are from NY then you'll appreciate a spot like this. This is a hip hotel and is still some what underground. in a few years this hotel/lounge will be well known and overrun with kids and tourist in ill fitting clothes. this hotel is like a queens play on the manhattan […] hotel W...that is to say its not "cookie cutter" . its stylish and is a nice place where you can have a drink with a lady in the lounge then go upstairs and enjoy the views of the city. The fact that its not in the manhattan is a plus because its across from the river you get the whole midtown skyline view really nice..even to a native. In this city with every over hyped trend and crowds and tourists its hard to find a real surprise and enjoy it. This hotel is not for you if: -you are traveling with a family (kids!) -you are looking for the most restful nights sleep of your life (why?) -you are corny This hotel is for you if: -you are on a date (score) -you are with friends (fun) -you are looking for a rooftop party and the price is affordable considering the accommodations. I have read other reviews looking for those that would badly rate this hotel. It is true that the staff wears jeans and a loose tie...but its hip and clean (certainly not hip hop) It is true that the service is not premiere..Ill chalk that off to the fact that this is a new hotel with inexperienced staff. Great hotel. Clean, comfy bed. Amazing view!

I liked the hotel itself. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Manhattan shuttle had a capacity of 8 people and was very punctual. Modern decor. Breakfast included bread, bagels, coffee, tea and yogurt. Things to improve: 1. More space on the shuttle that goes to Manhattan. 2. A better complimentary breakfast (include eggs, ham, etc.)

We had a really good deal, for this price, the hotel was excellent. But, if you do pay full price, and if you go there in winter, you might be disapointed. To go to your room, you have to go outside.. There is no real restaurant at the hotel, only a snack-bar. Brakfast only contains bagel, toast and yogurt ( and beverages) and the surronding area is […] not really nice..
