Sanouva Hotel - Ho Chi Minh City

Pros: good location to mkt and street food. Clean rooms with english speaking staff. Cons: Poor breakfast with limited sitting space. Told to come back later. Lacking in variety and taste. Rooms are very small for the price i am paying. Got a premium deluxe but it is much smaller and lesser equip than a room in another hotel i stay in recently. I even […] got a jacuzzi bath in the other hotel room. Pictures on the web grossly misrepresent the hotel room size. The room was really much much smaller. Gym was disappointing as well. Sanouva Hotel, in Ly Tu Trong is perfectly located being just around the corner from Benh Tanh markets and just a hop, skip and jump from reunification palace, war museum and other places of interest. There are several very good restaurants around - particularly along Pasteur St which is just a 5-10 minute walk away. The Rex and Sheraton Sky Bar, which […] are both great places to go for a drink at sunset or after dark to watch the lights of Saigon are all within easy walking distance. Breakfast at the hotel is not extensive but fresh and adequate. There are a couple of computers in the foyer/breafast area that are free to use and are new and fast. The rooms were clean and modern, reception and staff were very accommodating. The only negative thing I'd would have to say is that the water for showers was only luke warm early in the morning, which was ok but not so enjoyable. Having travelled extensively in Asia I'd rate this hotel good value for money, above all due to its location and cleanliness. Devamı

We only stayed for a night as a layover after a long bus ride back to HCMC, so we were looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay. After a few months of traveling in Asia, we were looking for a place with Western-style amenities and comfort, but at a reasonable price. The Sanouva hotel did not disappoint--it was great! The location of the hotel is good but there are many hotels around. My little son broke a simple water glas in the room and they made me pay 2,50 USD for it. The room is ok, the bed comfotable but the room is abit small. The carpet in the hotel floor is a bit dirty and makes the hotel look cheep.

Perfect little hotel in the heart of everything you would need for a great holiday. Lovely staff,you would not find better,give it a try .

First af all the location of the hotel is suberb, close to every major sight in HMC. Allthough there are sidewalks in most streets, you can appreciate that the street in front of Sanouva is bit more quiet. Crossing the street can be somewhat hazardous in the city. I had a delay with my flights to HCM and therefore arrived 1 day later to Vietnam and […] had to pay for the extranight, wich I knew in beforehand. I got to spend only 2 nights at Sanouva and hotel seemed very decent. Service was ok, breakfast was adequate, rooms were clean etc. Breakfast area is quite small and as lobby, lift and stairwell are located right next to it, there can be little action around while enjoying breakfast. My room was located close to the liftarea in 7th floor and there was some noise from the corridor at night time/morning, but proper earplugs took care of that harm. Hotel has only one lift, so be prepared to wait for a while unless you want to use stairs. Comparing to the hotel my brother and his wife spent 3 nights at, I would choose Sanouva, even though just a hint pricier. Devamı

This hotel is absolutely a good choice if you are looking for a clean, modern, reliable small hotel with great staff and smiling receptionists. Although it is 3 star, we felt like staying in 4 star. The only small negativ feedback is the breakfast choice, not much, but good quality.

Rooms weren't luxurious but clean and comfortable. Just 2 minutes walk from ben thah market. Breakfast was adequate with good hygiene and fresh fruit though vegetarian options limited. Free wifi was ok strength. The staff from porters, reception, cleaners and breakfast were all incredibly helpful and efficient. Located between the reunification palace and the Ben Thanh Market is the perfect place to start a visit in Saigon. It is a small building with a small discreet lobby. My room was facing the backyard, had a large window and a sober modern decor. The bedroom was on the small size as well the bathroom but there was enough space. Good location, professional service and friendly staff. We went for some.fantastic tours recommended by receptionists. The communication still of the staff need to be improved.

We stayed here for 3 nights during out honeymoon and were greeted with rose petals on our bed which was an extra nice touch. Hotel room and entrance areas were very tastefully decorated. Gym was located on top floor with great views of city -but small with basic machines and a little eerie to even get up to when by self. However they did also serve eggs, fruit, bread and other Asian type foods so good variety. Staff were all so friendly. We booked our trip to Cu Chu tunnels through hotel on our arrival (well recommend!). We went for the half day trip. Hotel's location was in a good area. Yes located on a busy enough street but as we were about 6-7 floors up, were still able to sleep well. We did start getting mosquito bites at this hotel (had no problems before this in Hoi An or Hanoi) -which felt little unusual for city central located hotel. Maybe that was to do with fact that windows were open in our room on arrival! (Don’t worry, rooms all have A.C.). On our first evening we were a bit lost of where to go for food, but by the following day when we got more used to our bearings, we realised that we were in a very central area –within walking distance to all the main tourist type areas both for eating and visiting during day. There is also a big market located within 5 min walk to hotel –open 7 days a week –packed with all types of everything. Great place for picking up gifts and souveniers for home. I would classify this as a no frills business hotel tho i stayed here for holidays. My stay there was comfortable; staff was warm and helpful, with genuine smiles. The hotel is located on a street with slightly less traffic. The room I was not facing the main street but the residential area, hence had peaceful undisturbed sleep. And yet, it's not too […] far off frm the backpacker area or main attractions in District 1. Facilities are modern and new (prob cos the hotel is quite new). Wifi, which has now become a must, is reliable and stable. There are also 2 computer terminals on the ground floor. Breakfast was included in the cost of our stay but only took it for one of two days i stayed there. Very comfortable 3 star hotel in a good location, close to Ben Tanh Market, friendly and helpful staff, probably best place we stayed in Vietnam.

Nice, clean and comfortable- only complaint was the thin walls-can hear the noise in the mornings and nights with everyone getting in and out of their rooms

ベトナムへは仕事で年3～4回行ってまｓのが、今回家族旅行でいきました。 ホ－チミン着が午後10時30分ですので、ホテル着が11時30分頃になりますが親切に対応してくれます。 クリスマスやテト（旧正月）には部屋にささやかですが小さなプレゼントがありうれしくなります。 ホ－チミン市内の観光には徒歩で行く事ができます。

位置什么都很不错，下次还会考虑入住的

schöne zimmer, modernes bad, freundliches personal, gutes frühstück. gut gelegen, sodass viele sehenswürdigkeiten in der nähe und zu fuss erreichbar sind.
