Long Dell Inn - Centerville

Marc and Donna are great hosts. Great place to stay on the Cape. Looking forward to seeing "Long Dell Falls" on a return trip. Would recommend to others.

This was a very lovley Inn, and it would be a pleasure to go back. The Inn keepers Mark and Donna were wonderful. You can really see how much they loved what they did, as well as how much they loved caring for you. Each morning they provided a wonderful gourmet breakfast that you can tell they took much pride in. They were very accomindating to my […] husbands food allergies, and always made sure that we had pleanty to eat, and were satisfied. I loved that everything was made from scratch...even the amazing Morning Glory Muffins! The Inn itself was very clean and comfortable. The Inn keepers recently took over this property and basically inherited everything with it, but they did speak of some renovating. Though I found it very cozy as is, I would have preferred a more comforable bed. The room was very private and clean, and I felt very safe even sleeping with the windows open. We stayed in the "Peaceful room" and the room was VERY tiny, but this was expected from reading previous reviews. It was tiny, but adequate. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is visiting the Cape. It is in such a wonderful location, the Inn is so quaint, and peaceful, and it's hosts were very welcoming and pleased to have you stay with them. Devamı

This is an old house so the room we had (Peaceful) was tiny and the bathroom, while clean and boasting a good shower, was a little problematic due to the lack of ventilation. There is also no room for clothes or really any storage to speak of. However, the bed was comfortable, the location perfect, the innkeepers friendly and helpful, the food delicious […] and plentiful. So on the whole I would recommend staying here but in one of the larger rooms (and in back, as there is some traffic noise). Devamı

Very nice! Clean room, spotless private bathroom, lovely atmosphere and to top it off, a great homemade breakfast on the porch with lovely china and service. What more could you ask for? Very nice stay. Within walking distance to the beach and delicious ice cream around the corner!

motel 6 would have been better, small room, not clean, clutered common area, musty smell, carpet stains, tv not working. very disapointed with stay

Ideal for a couple who would like to have a quiet and warm B&B,in Centerville, Cape Cod. This place is close to Graigville beach,Golf courts,etc. Unique Breakfast each morning is home prepared with natural and local products.Would certainly recommend it.

We'd stayed in larger hotels until choosing The Long Dell so were a little uncertain about what to expect. What a joy we found it to be. Kate and Dennis were warm and welcoming but not over-whelming. We were shown our room (6ft King Size bed in the Captain's Room!) , the visitors' sitting room and adjoining breakfast room and then left to ourselves […] unless we wanted advice. We were encouraged to help ourselves (free of charge) to early evening wine, mulled cider, nuts and cheese and enjoyed these with other guests on the two evenings where there were others. Dennis' breakfasts were over-generous with "specials" and extra treats which we took away for lunch! This was our first "bed & breakfast" experience in the USA and has encouraged us to be more adventurous in the future but The Long Dell has set the bar very high! Clearly, the bathroom in a b&b is going to be smaller than in a 5-star hotel but the facilities were perfectly adequate with all the toiletries, hairdryer etc. you'd expect in a hotel plus plenty of fresh towels too. There was plenty of off-road parking in a gravelled area to the side of the house. We'd definitely stay here again if we were re-visiting the area. Devamı

The Long Dell Inn must be a terrific example of a bed and breakfast done exceptionally well. We had never tried the bed and breakfast concept, but wanted to experience something different as we have stayed in so many hotels around the world.... a little anxiety here about privacy and comfort and what if we get into a place and it is awful? So, I tried […] to pick a really good location to go to and the best of the lot at that location. Cape Cod was the location and Long Dell Inn had rave reviews on Hotels.com. We arrived in the afternoon and were met by a smiling Dennis, grabbed a key had lunch and went directly to the beach....just a mile away and an easy walk.... Dennis offered beach towels and chairs. We came back to the Long Dell, dropped our bags off in a wonderful first floor room with private bath and very comfortable King sized bed....the whole place is very nicely decorated with antique furnishing and great decore. Breakfast is great, Dennis is a retired chef and Kate is amazinigly attentive to your preferences. Long Dell in is a must if you are going to the Cape...a professional Bed and Breakfast run by two great Inn keepers! Devamı

We loved our stay and met the most interesting people who were also guests. The breakfasts were truly scrumptious featuring Dennis' homemade breads, cakes and a specialty item each day. Kate was a friendly and helpful hostess. The suggested itineraries and restaurants helped to plan our trip. This is a great place and one we would be more than happy […] to stay at in the future.
