Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel - Baton Rouge

There were a few kinks encounter during our stay. The first day we were out until 10pm and housekeeping had not cleaned our room. Then during the night, one of the hotel phones battery was not charging and the beeping woke us up. We did receive free breakfast passed for the remained of our stay and the serve at the restaurant was excellent and the food […] delicious. It is a great hotel!! Breakfast at the hotel was delicious! The only complaints- we requested a room with two beds, but did not get it. Had to get a roll a way.

Decor wonderful. Check in staff great. Rooms very clean. Clean, nice pool. Neat outdoor patio. Convenient location. Only downfall is breakfast area was small and not manned very well. Folks working in there were nice but they were inadequately staffed. Overall very good value

Great hotel - convenient location - friendly staff - super clean rooms

This is a brand new Hotel it was very clean. The service was great everyone was very friendly. The Mall is within walking distance along with a large selection of really good restaurants. I would very much recommend this Hotel.

Lovely brand new hotel perfect for business or leisure stay. 4-star AAA rated. Very convenient location across from large Mall of Louisiana shopping center. A welcome new addition to the Baton Rouge hotel scene. Helpful staff. Attractive restaurant and bar. Shuttle service.

Beautiful decor (except for those rugs) and extremely comfortable room. Service very slow and disorganized at breakfast. The hotel is new and it seemed that the cooks and wait staff had not settled into a routine.

I have been travelling regularly to Baton Rouge for a decade. The choice was either a convienient two star motel with a good (Bluebonnet _Siegen Ln.) location or a four star hotel downtown. Now I can have a solid 3-4 star hotel in the area I need to be near. This hotel is new and has a few growing pains (room service waits), but it is very nice with […] very comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly. Only complaint is that they had a big LSU frat party in the ballroom the first night I was there. You might want to ask about that before you book if you want to sleep. Devamı

The Renaissance hotel is a modern style hotel with a bar, restaraunt, gym and meeting areas. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location near the mall of Louisiana and several other stores, restaurants and bars. The one complaint I have is that they charge $13 per day for in-room wi-fi. First of all, the hotel is a marvel and work of art. Probably the best hotel I have ever visited. We were thrilled as guests there was a complimentary breakfast for two each day (not sure how long that will continue). This is a brand new incarnation of an older building and they've done an amazing job with it. The decor is hip sophistication, yet comfortable, from the cavernous lobby to the individual rooms. The rooms feature 8-foot ceilings, due to the building's age, but are well-appointed. We were upgraded to a suite, which featured not one, but two flat screen […] TVs, and two separate thermostats. The beds are comfortable, with fresh new linens and down comforters and pillows. The towels are big & thick, and bathroom vanity lighting is bright. Complimentary toiletries are by Aveda, and a pair of bathrobes awaited in the closet. The hotel's location on Bluebonnet across from the Mall of Louisiana initially had me concerned about traffic noise, but not once did we hear any outside noise at all. The fitness center is well equipped with all the latest machines. A pair of "huddle rooms" on the second floor offer free computer/printer access. Wifi is available for a fee. Our suite featured it's own coffee/tea maker and mini-fridge. The hotel offers complimentary morning coffee at the restaurant, and my only complaint is that it was never quite hot. We did not dine in the hotel restaurant, so I'm unable to review that. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and greeted us each time we entered the lobby, which was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday. We've stayed in several hotels in BR, and this one was the best for the money. I'm not sure if these rates are introductory, since the hotel's been open only two months, but our rate was less than we've regularly paid for considerably inferior chain hotels in the area. The Hotel was very, very nice and a great location. Syaff was great. Food was excellent.

This is without a doubt the best property in Baton Rouge. The restaurant is great, the bar is high end, and the decor is awesome. You might be turned off by this hotel if you don't like the modern, art-deco style. The rooms are very spacious and have very high end touches. I especially liked the bathroom and the huge walk-in shower. The TV's are also […] true HD cable, not a flat screen with standard fuzzy cable like most hotels have. The pool and outdoor lunge area feel very "Miami" like. I also used the fitness center and it has everything you would need. All in all, it's the best hotel in BR, and I've stayed in most of them. The only negative is that it's not located downtown or near bars or clubs. Nothing is walking distance and you have to get in your car for everything. Luckily, the restaurant and bar are great to hang out at. This will be my go-to hotel next time I'm in need in BR. Devamı

The hotel is exquisite!! Beautiful decor and we order room service and the food and service was also great. Great location. Only complaint is the beds are hard and I woke up with back ache. However, I would definitely stay here again. Great location across from Mall of Louisiana.
