Sandton Grand Hotel Reylof - Ghent

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. When I arrived I was given a room at the ground floor. This room was cold, had a hole in the floor and big windows out to the garden (I did not like the feeling of having people walk just outside my window) and I just did not like it, so I asked the person who checked me in if there were any rooms higher up. She […] said no. A while after I went back to the reception to give them my passport, and I asked another person if they had other rooms available higher up. He said "yeah, sure" and a very helpful girl then found me another room which was much better.There was also a misunderstanding with regards to breakfast being included or not. When I booked the room it said on hotels.com that breakfast was included, but it said nothing about it on my confirmation. So I Asked at check-in wheather it was included or not. The person said "yes". At check-out it turned out that it was not included. I had to explain to the receptionist which then was helpful and said that we didn't have to pay any extra for breakfast. By the way the breakfast buffet was very nice, but we still probably would rather have eaten breakfast in a cozy cafe in town if we had known that breakfast was not included. All in all a nice stay in a nice hotel. Mostly a bit older guests, and I think this hotel is nice for the older generation, since you can get everything you need in one place. For me it lacks a bit of atmosphere. If I go back to Ghent I think I will try another hotel. Devamı

We stayed in a deluxe room on the ground floor which fronted a main road, whilst the room was fantastic the noise from the road was a little intrusive. We ate in the restaurant and whilst the food was very good the kitchen service was very slow. The hotel is maintained to a very high standard and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel […] is well located and within a ten minute walk to the city centre. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again but not in the same room. Devamı

I stayed in October at this nice hotel in Ghent. It was located near the old town and the room was also nice and comfortable. There were issues with the staff and the fact that the hotel was/is still under construction. The staff did not appear to have much training on how to manage guests. No information on the free wireless or free drinks in the mini […] fridge were provided at check-in. There was also construction noise in the morning at 7:30am that we were not informed about, so no need for an alarm clock. At checkout the charged me for my room again even thought I had proof of payment through Hotels.com. Over 2 months they repeatedly promised to credit my account but failed to follow though. Hotel.com eventually refunded my overcharges from them. Will not stay again. Devamı

This hotel is one of the nicest hotel I have stayed in. IT is recently opened but is designed in old style. The service was the very best, staff expertly trained. It is located in the very heart of Ghent (which is a breathtaking city) and plenty of great restaurants nearby. The rooms were very elegent and the mattress was tempur with the softest topper […] and pillow. The shower was a very large rain shower. The restaurant and bar are lovely although a little expensive. The only drawback of this hotel was that it advertises a spa and suana but this wont be open till Dec 2011. The hotel should not falsly advertise. Nevertheless, I would go back there in a heartbeat and recommend anyone to stay there. I also look forward to staying in the groups other hotels in France and Holland too. Devamı

A modern decor hotel that when finished will be very nice. The work still going on doesn't interfere with your stay. Some rooms were out of action when we arrived, the builders had caused a leak, which meant three of our party were moved elsewhere. It wasn't handled very well on check in and made out to be our fault. Wasn't a great start to our stay […] and the assistant manager on reception could do with a little more customer service training. Other than this and had it been handled with an apology and more compassion to the inconvenience then I would recommend this hotel. Hopefully it was just a one off. Hotel is in a good location. We arrived at the hotel and it has to be said that the surrounding area was not the best - although there was building work being carried out at the hotel it was clean and very luxurious in the foyer / bar area. The room which was a Standard was extreemly small - probably the smallest room I have ever stopped in - which was a big dissapointment as the […] standard of the room was excellent - just no space . We paid extra for the breakfast which was 20 euros each and felt that althogh adequate was not good value for money. We enjoyed our stay in Ghent however had been the previous night in Bruges in a 4 star hotel that had a large standard room with breakfast for less than the room price of this one. Devamı

This hotel is wonderful. Clearly brand new when we were there (work still going on) but there was no sense of disruption for the guests. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, the facilities were lovely. Make sure that you bring something nice to wear and have a drink in the bar, it's lovely! The rooms are spacious, and well appointed (internet […] access, a real hair dryer!) and the bed ws extremely comfortable. The location is good: only a few minutes' walk from the river and the old town. Breakfast was pricey but there are cafes a short walk from the hotel. Overall: wonderful experience! Devamı

Réservation non respectée:2 lits au lieu d'un grand lit Service extrêmement lent au restaurant. Chute sur sol mouillé:obligation d'une indication de sol glissant lors du ménage. Le premier jour, à notre retour, vers 16h30,notre chambre n'était pas faite.

Das Hotel ist mit viel Geschmack ganz neu in historischen Mauern errichtet und mutig, farbig in neuer Innenarchitektur ausstaffiert. Grossartige, exquisite Küche

Il est vraiment dommage que certains employés de l'hôtel ne fasse volontairement aucun effort linguistique (français v/s flamand). Mis à part cela, tout était très bien, et l'hôtel est vraiment à recommander.

Zeer mooi en luxe hotel in het centrum van Gent, alle bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand. Het personeel is vriendelijk en bekwaam. De kamers zijn smaakvol ingericht en aan de tuinzijde heerst een aangename stilte zodat je 's nachts heerlijk kunt slapen. Het ontbijt 's morgens is uitgebreid en goed verzorgd. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf en […] kunnen het zondermeer aanbevelen. Wanneer we weer naar Gent reizen slapen we weer hier. Devamı

Jammer dat de spa nog net niet open was, maar wij gaan zeker terug! Goede bedden, uitstekende service!

We hebben 2 overnachtingen gehad in dit hotel te Gent. Het betreft een leuk, modern hotel. Jammer dat het Wellness Center nog niet open was ivm renovatiewerkzaamheden maar dan hebben we in ieder geval een reden om de volgende keer dit hotel weer te boeken mochten we nog een keer naar Gent gaan. Très bel hôtel méritant tout à fait ses 4 étoiles. La réception, la salle à manger et la chambre sont refaits à neuf et décorés avec beaucoup de goût. Il se situe à 200 mètres de la place principale. Mooi nieuw hotel, probeer wel een kamer te reserveren aan de binnentuin i.v.m. de verkeersdrukte in de omliggende straten.

改装が終わったばかりのためか、ロビー、レストラン、部屋ともにとても綺麗でした。部屋もとても広く、快適に過ごすことができました。旧市街地にも徒歩圏内で、観光も楽しめます。

Meget fint hotel jf beskrivelse. DE BYGGER BARE ENDNU OG ER IKKE FÆRDIGE!!! Spa og wellness - det er ikke klar endnu selvom det står på deres hjemmeside i nutidsform. Har brugt Hotels.com ifm rejse gennem USA. Jeg kan konstatere at man altid får et dårligt værelse´. Dvs ud til gade og/eller elevator og/eller indgang og/eller toilet.

heel mooi hotel, net helemaal verbouwd, het personeel is heel aardig. kamers zijn ruim, goed bed, toilet en badkamer apart, erg handig. en prachtige inloop douche. dit hotel voorziet je van al het comfort dat je nodig hebt voor een relaxed weekend weg.

Nytt o fräscht i gammalt hus. Fint rum med bra säng, rymligt badrum med dusch o toa. Frukostbuffén hade det mesta. Vänlig personal. Parkeringsgarage under hotellet. Lite svårt att upptäcka hotellet med bara en liten namnplatta vid en stor portingång. Kort promenad till centrummitten.
