Dar Chams Tanja - Tangier

Our experience at Dar Chams ranks in top 3 of our lifetime. Very personal and undivided attention by the owners to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was the most relaxing. They personally showed us around town, to restaurants, etc. Their hotel, which I would consider more of an personal estate turned bed / breakfast was worth 3-4 […] times the price we paid. The Hotel was great. The food and service were fantastic. I had a great time. If you stay around the hotel, which is right next to the Kasbah (the most beautiful views in Tangier) all is great. However, venturing into the depths of the Medina is something I did only for a few hours and will never do again. Tangier is a place you can experience in one […] day with an overnight stay. The Dar Chams is almost new and is beautifully decorated inside. The owners of the hotel were welcoming and the staff made us feel very at home during our stay. The Dar Chams is in the old Medina of Tanger and so is perfectly located for exploring the old town, whilst anywhere in Tanger is easily reached from the near by Grand Soco. On our arrival we […] were served mint tea on the roof top terrace, at which point the sun began to set and the call to prayer from the nearby Grand Mosque rang out. An amazing experience. Being based in the Medina the surrounding streets are very much part of day to day life in Tanger. The shops open late and people gather and talk in groups - well up to midnight. This makes the area feel very safe, but wouldn't suit people who want to have a quiet early night. Devamı

Truly the oweners of this B&B have poured their hearts into this place. Arrived in Tangiers on the early ferry for a tour. Finished the tour and called it an early night. Listening to the sounds of the surrounding casbah as evening fell was a great experience. As we decided to sleep, closed the windows and were pleasantly surprised to find that the […] seals on the windows blocked out all noise. The room itself was very modern in its appliances, a flat screen tv, a sound system installed for the bed, the latest bathroom fixtures and all with a beautiful decor inspired by the locale. I could easily spend weeks in that room. All the rooms in the hotel are arranged and appointed differently and have their own unique looks. The breakfast served was generous and delicious, overall for a unique and warm experience I would highly recommend this as a place to stay. Devamı

comfy, cozy and welcoming. me and my boyfriend absolutely loved this place. the staff was very friendly and owners took time out to sit and chat. we have stayed at many other hotels that dont seem to have the time or interest for questions or concerns however, this place really took the time to make our stay perfect. i highly recomend it!
